I was right....

For the 10th Congressional District I was right: props to me. I said it was going to be a close race and it was. I didn't know who to throw my vote to.

There were a few issues for me that I was bothered about:

• Meuser lives in the 11th district and only bought a vacation home in the 10th. Not to paraphrase a former candidate in this race but he didn't seem to represent the values and the economic scale of the people of the 10th. I don't know too many people living in the 10th who can just go ahead and buy a second home worth over $350k.
  
• Hackett hired an illegal alien to clean his house.
  
• Hackett started slinging mud knowing full well the establishment was on Meuser's side.
  
• Meuser's PAC gave money to libs.
• The list goes on and on - just go ahead and read my posts

Then there was the issue of integrity: Hackett blew the race for the republicans by slinging mud and getting it thrown back in his face. Carney now has more ammo. Meuser was actually the gentleman in the race and I respect him tremendously for it... among other things including the fact that he employs close to a thousand people in the area and he along with his family built that business to where it is now. I spoke to the guy I once endorsed as candidate (Swiderski) and here's what he had to say about Meuser as a businessman:

I know how 'bloggerville' was all over for me saying nice things about Hackett's early mass media advertising, but I like to tell people what's on my mind rather than 'sugar coat' answers or not provide a straight answer. With the above being said, I cannot deny that Dan Meuser and his family are great businesspeople. How many people can honestly say they can grow a business 400%+ and sustain it? Pride Mobility is the epitomy of what entrepreneurship is all about. From a business perspective, the Meuser family did what they had to do to successfully grow their enterprise and gainfully employ approx. 1000 people.

I don't know Dan personally and would have liked to have the opportunity to get to know him a bit during the race, so I cannot say anything about his personal values or beliefs. However, the attachment to the Pride PAC was something that - although great for business - could hurt his chances as a republican candidate. Nonetheless, we have two highly qualified
candidates to choose from in this primary. Although I endorsed Chris Hackett, I wish both candidates the best of luck tonight. I will not be ashamed to throw my full support behind the winner of tonight's primary."

I - eddytheangryrepublican - voted for Meuser this election. KAR (AKA Kevin Reynolds), you can lick my *ss whenever you want.

I know people called Swiderski a moron but at least he endorsed the right candidate. Hackett won by a slim margin. I wouldn't put it past Meuser to challenge the votes though.

Hell I didn't vote for Hackett but I gotta admit he's the best we have right now against Carney.
Frankly I think he's the only candidate of the two who could beat him. I have two last things to say:

First - to Chris Hackett - I didn't believe in you even though i beleived in the candidate who endorsed you. Congratulations on the win and for giving us hope for defeating the machine. Make us proud in taking the seat back for the GOP. You have my full support.

Next - to the republican voters of the 10th district - WE cannot allow a lib DC to control our lives and take away our freedoms. Please support Chris Hackett in his run for the 10th. Contact his campaign and get a lawn sign make phone calls canvass neighborhoods do whatever you have to to get this man elected. Our rights and freedoms that we hold dear are at stake.

In case you're living under a rock Hackett started digging up some dirt on his opponents and found that Damn Meuser hired some illegal aliens eons ago. This is starting to sound like a Hillary Clinton tactic. Dig up dirt from something that happened 13 years ago when you yourself are guilty of doing the same.

Damn Meuser decides to fire back after finding out that Senor Hackett hired a little housekeeper - the stereotype of hiring a young sexy little Latino lolita lingers in the back of my mind. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Hackett claims to have done nothing wrong by allegedly mistakingly hiring a lolita and firing her once she admitted she was an illegal alien. According to ICE officials Chris Hackett did exactly what he was supposed to do: fire her. Here's where the hypocracy exists: Chris Hackett says he takes a strong stance on illegal immigration. So why the f*ck didn't the deuschebag report her to ICE? His excuse was that he didn't want to violate her humanitarian rights and that he didn't feel he was required to report her. Granted the guy wasn't supposed to report her but you can't say that you take a strong stance on illegal immigration by letting her roam free to scrub someone else's floors in a cute little maid outfit on her hands and knees and wait around for the libs to give her amnesty. Here's a guy who's claiming to run on a platform to be part of a solution not part of the problem. By failing to report her to ICE he is allowing a broken system to work. Doesn't sound like much of a guy who's trying to be part of a solution to me. If he were really strong on illegal immigration he would have had her *ss deported.

Mr. Hackett will tell you that it's not the people's job to act as policemen after reading the above paragraph criticizing his actions or lack thereof. Uhmm... Chris you're not acting as a policeman by reporting her to ICE any more or any less than if you were to call the police if you saw someone breaking into your neighbor's house. You would be just informing the proper authorities to investigate and leave the matter in their own hands. WAY TO GO CHRIS!!!

This Gets Better Yet!!!
OneSource got investigated for hiring illegals many times!!! Hackett's claim is that employees provided false identification and that the people who "probably" illegal aliens were hired unknowingly. I don't know much about this area but I'm sure there's gotta be a way that a temp agency can verify SSNs so before writing this I relied on someone who knows more about business than I do. I asked Paul Swiderski (you know the guy who dropped out of the race?) if employers can check employees' social security numbers. Here's what he said:

Any employer can verify the Social Security Number of new hires, as well as existing employees, by using the Social Security Administration’s Social Security Number Verification Service (SSNVS) or the Dept. of Homeland Security’s e-Verify service. Both programs are free. To verify legal working status, you need to use the Dept. of Homeland Security’s e-Verify system. I don’t know a lot about the latter program but know that it is available. Links to each program are below:

I know a lot more about the SSNVS program. I strongly advise my small business clients, particularly new employers, to take advantage of this service in an effort to avoid any problems with quarterly/annual payroll tax return filings. Directions on how to access the database are provided in this booklet.

There are two methods in which an employer can verify SSNs:

• “Verify up to 10 names and SSNs (per screen) online and receive immediate results. This option is ideal to verify new hires.
• Upload overnight files of up to 250,000 names and SSNs and usually receive results the next government business day. This option is ideal if you want to verify an entire payroll database or if you hire a large number of workers at a time (SSA, 2008).”

The intent of the database is only to verify an employee’s SSN for tax purposes. It is not meant to be used for the purposes of conducting a witch hunt on your employees. The SSA strictly prohibits an employer from

“taking punitive action against an employee whose name and Social Security number do not match Social Security's records… A mismatch does not make any statement about an employee's immigration status and is not a basis, in and of itself, for taking any adverse action against an employee. Doing so could subject you to anti-discrimination or labor law sanctions” (SSA, 2008, par. 2).

Here's my take: Hackett should've done a better job at verifying SSNs with at OneSource and he should've taken a tougher stance with his lolita.

Is honesty the best policy?

Swiderski let out a big skeleton this week: his company Swiderski & Associates, LLC went under. Here's what he said:

"Against the wishes of my campaign committee, I wish to disclose to you my faults. The voters have a right to know the people who want to represent them. I am making it aware to all of you that I, like any other human being, am not perfect. What we normally have in campaigns are people who try to pretend to be perfect in all respects. I, as an average citizen and a Christian, do not believe in pretending to be someone who I am not. Such a feat can only lead to distrust." True but a rather boring statement

"Although 2006 started out well for my firm, it turned out to be a financially terrible year for my business when our area experienced flooding that was not expected. Many small businesses were impacted by this flood and had to close. I lost 43% of my business and had to reorganize. Part of the reorganization plan required that my company file for bankruptcy protection and close the company." OUCH!!! Looks like the Business Doctor needs a prescription for something.

"Any and all existing clients were transferred to a new enterprise owned by me." Smart move. Close the company down start a new one and move forward. Better than going down with the ship and losing everything you own.

"I am letting the truth be known about this event because media spin may try to make me look like an incompetent accountant when this is not the case. Certainly, I know how to pay my bills on time, but when you lose 43% of your business there is no way to keep your company thriving. After losing such business, there just simply wasn’t enough revenue to meet business obligations." OK we get it. An act of God comes through the area and kills your company.

"There are many reasons for filing for bankruptcy other than financial mismanagement. One such reason is to prevent a law suit. Another reason is to allow a small business owner a “fresh start” due to mishandling of money. My situation was due to neither." Yeah we got that from the last paragraph. I have a dead horse you can beat when you're done with this statement.

"I made the mistake of opening a small business out of necessity with very little capital." You and about half of the little guys out there make the same mistake.

"(My wife took ill and I was laid off from my job while taking a leave of absence from work. My employer let me go, and I was denied unemployment. With no money coming in, I had to do something to make money, so I took whatever money I had left - $300 - and advertised that I did tax preparation)." There is a more detailed explanation on his campaign blog:

"Five years ago, when my wife had cancer, I took a leave of absence from work to only be let go shortly thereafter. I was denied unemployment compensation, and with bills piling I knew I had to do something to make ends meet.

"I took all the money I had and paid whatever bills needed to be paid at the time. All I had left was $300. I had no other money coming in and couldn't take on a full-time job at the time. I needed to take care of things at home. Having a one year old daughter at the time made things tougher. I took that $300, put an ad in the paper and spent the rest on some office supplies and a flea market booth to market myself as an accountant specializing in income tax preparation. I prayed that I would make enough money to pay some more bills until I found another job. This was in mid-March with less than 6 weeks left to filing deadline.

"By the end of those six weeks, there was so much money made that I forgot about the job search and decided to pursue the venture with a full-time effort.

As the business grew, I kept investing whatever little money was left over to keep growing the business. After the flood of 2006 came, over half of my receivables became uncollectible. "I live very modestly, so there wasn’t much room to cut back costs. My home is nothing to brag about, my wife and I don’t drive luxury cars, and my only school-age child goes to public school." OK he's not wealthy. We all knew that.

"I am not proud of having to make the decision to close my company, but in order to protect whatever assets I had worked hard to earn I had no other choice. " I don't think that anyone will go out in the streets and brag that the bottom fell out. Looking at the facts according to Swiderski presented I don't see how anyone could have a choice but to do what he did with the business.

"Any small business owner in my position would have made the same choice." There is another option: go down with the ship in flames. Of course there's the hindsight option: raise capital but this is hard to do. Our government and big businesses don't make it easy for the small business owner to succeed. Not everyone can marry into the family business or buy his business from the government. I used to own a business and I can tell you all first hand how the odds are stacked against you.

"A big business, however, can take a big hit and move on." Yeah like Pride's $80,000 medicare fraud settlement.

"Throughout this short period of time – even though money was tight - I still was able to and continue to make my personal monthly obligations on time." Despite the fact that I had a horrible year in 2006, my clients still trust me to manage their books. Two of Donald Trump’s businesses filed for bankruptcy within the last ten years, and people continue to do business with him. Milton Hershey failed at business six times before starting his famous chocolate enterprise. Throughout his bad years, he had investors who believed in his ideas. People still shop at Kmart. The failure of a small business due to uncontrollable circumstances should not deter the owner from representing other small business owners in Congress. Rather, my experience is nothing more than a perfect example of the hardship of small business ownership which relates me more to the common entrepreneur in the 10th congressional district. If anyone should represent small business owners in government, it should be someone who can relate to them." Thanks to a lawyer buddy of mine I was able to see the public record of filing. I am not a CPA but there is nothing in the filing to lead me to believe that there was any mishandling of money or that someone went crazy with credit limits. I have no reason to believe that Swiderski's ability to run a business other than doing so with no capital was a factor.

"I have been open and honest with my clients about this incident, and I feel that the voters deserve to know the truth as well from the source. Part of my decision to run for is so that I can help prevent the loss of other small businesses." Well now the voters know your side of the story but for Godsake do you have to sound like a freakin' crusader?

Rightwinger I am torn too. Regardless Meuser's campaign is now finished thanks to KAR AKA Kevin Reynolds AKA Anonymous. The only thing I see here is that the big corporate executive is beating up on the struggling small business owner tightening the noose on the little guy while paying off liberal politicians who make the laws that help destroy small business and hinder economic growth. Swiderski never had a chance before this all came out. Meuser could have let Swiderski fall off the radar quietly. Now Meuser gave Swiderski free press while creating more controversy for himself.

Thanks to the folks at the Swiderski campaign I now know who this liberal hack is.

His name is Jerry, a liberal atheist blogger from Northern California who has an agenda to attack Christianity. His site claims to be open to objective discussion on the debate between God and Science, but there is nothing objectively written on that site. It is filled with hateful attacks on Christianity and the Bible. Many of the site's 55 members post hateful comments about Christian candidates. He and the hacks he recruited were doing the same on candidate blog sites and were notably kicked off Alan Keyes' blog site for the very same reason. Alan Keyes is a GOP candidate for U.S. President strongly supported by Christians.

The gears in my head are smoking and need some oil. How did this Jerry guy from CA find out about Swiderski in PA? Here's a couple-two-three possibilities:

1. Keyes' and Swiderski's people been talking and there's someone at Keyes' campaign trying to derail Keyes.
2. Swiderski sent a press release to a poser: a bunch of libs posing as a prolife or christian group hiding behind a website playing a game of recon.
3. Swiderski's campaign has an enemy in N. CALI or Hackett's campaign has a friend in N CALI (Hackett got money from people in CA).
4. Ted Terbolizard's (CA-4) campaign has an insider trying to derail Ted's campaign. (Terbolizard and other Ron Paul supporters endorse Paul Swiderski - there's a rumor that Ron Paul endorses Paul Swiderski).

Some liberal *sshole apparently emailed the Swiderski campaign spreading their liberal agenda. Here's the contents of the email send to him:

Paul,
Based on your position statements, I pledge to work hard AGAINST your
campaign.

For instance, your blatantly illogical comment on stem cells; "Instead of
placing innocent life at risk, we should look to other proven means first."
The harvesting of stem cells from embryos on the way to a furnace for
incineration DOES NOT place innocent life at risk. Your statement is
impossible. It trashes your credibility and your logic and ability to
understand facts. Even if you believe that an embryo or fetus is a viable
life when in the womb - after it is aborted (spontaneously and naturally by
the body or invasive by a physician) at that point it is 100% dead. Removing
of a few stem cells at that point is meaningless to all parties involved. In
a few moments it will be ash. Yet it can provide a rich source of biological
starting material for advanced research. To prevent a disease that will
probably cause death to many people, including ones you love.

You said; "The adult stem cells are found in high quantity through the blood
of the umbilical cord and placenta." Perhaps you need to speak to the people
involved in the research to better understand the technology. Nothing is
more dangerous than someone (let alone a politician!) with "pretend
knowledge" speaking as though he knows what he is talking about. Indeed,
recent advances have been encouraging, but there is no substitute for new
active stem cell lines.

Furthermore you state; "The science for embryonic stem cells has not
produced any viable results. By promoting their use, we are giving false
hope to those suffering from debilitating diseases". Good grief, *when I
read that I saw immediately why you must NEVER be elected* - nor ever be in

First, thank you for you email. I enjoy receiving and reading mail from voters, no matter what your opinion is on my positions. As someone who wants to represent the people, it is important to know what the people's opinions are. I also welcome the opportunity to debate an issue in a civil manner. However, when a liberal such as yourself writes hate mail like the one above, you run the risk of having your play book disclosed to the people of the 10th Congressional District to illustrate what kind of values and people democrats like Chris Carney represent (Carney did vote for embryonic stem cell research funding - H.R. 810).

This is an example of an email from a typical liberal hack. These are the people who are trying to destroy traditional moral values and our identity as Americans. These are the people who attack Christianity and take away the the right to say celebratory phrases like Merry Christmas. Liberals like this faceless hack are responsible for polluting the meaning of the U.S. Constitution, make you want to believe that our founding fathers were atheists, and say that our children's rights will become violated if we allow them to pray in school.

Sir or madam (I cannot tell since you weren't bold enough to put your name to your email), you are more than welcome to campaign against my ideals just as I have the right to campaign for the right to restore America and return our country to its traditional, conservative values based upon the Christian principles of our founding fathers.

I welcome the opportunity to talk about the facts of this issue, rather than being preach to with senseless liberal ranting. Here are the facts about stem cell research, based upon credible, non-partisan, peer-reviewed articles (i.e., scholarly sources):

Most embryonic stem cells can be found in the umbilical cord and placenta. Scientists never legitimately validated the hypothesis that stems cells from embryos have any significant value for research. Almost all research conducted in this field indicate that this hypothesis will never be validated. Although research does indicate that one can clone blastocyst cells, the research focuses on the DNA which can be found in non-embryonic cells, extracted from therein, and yield the same results. In other words, taking an aborted fetus and using it for medical research is pointless. Therefore, the need to push for the legitimization of abortion through stem cell research is negated.

The latest research in stem cell development indicates that "stem cells can be derived from reprogrammed adult skin cells, making it appear less important to use human embryos... researchers... were able to create embryonic stem cells by using skin cells".

It is true that I am not a scientist. However, my training as a doctoral candidate allow me to obtain and analyze scholarly research for the purposes of forming an educated, informed and unbiased opinion. This research goes far beyond reading blogs and internet articles from incredible sources.
As your next representative, I will continue to examine emerging and developing issues such as the one above from an unbiased standpoint.

There is nothing illogical about Swiderski's comment "instead of placing innocent life at risk...." The libs want to convince the public that embryonic stem cells from fetuses will cure the world of all diseases despite recent reports that say fetusus don't have any scientific value. It's just a ploy to keep abortion legal. I wouldn't be surprised if abortion clinics would try to convince women that an abortion will not be a waste of life because the fetus can be donated to science. ahhh the playbook opened to chapter 4: "even if science proves our philosophy wrong: lie and convince the people that the scientists are religious fanatics or find some illegitimate scientist to repudiate concerns. The only thing you're partially right on is the incineration of the aborted fetus. Most states allow or require incineration. All require humane disposal including burial. Nice to know that states call for the humane treatment of an inhumane procedure.

I love the tone of his email when it opens. It's almost Regan-ish. Once the formalities are out of the way he begins to tear this guy a new one! Then, he exposes Carney's record!

I welcome the opportunity to talk about the facts of this issue, rather than being preached to with senseless liberal ranting. OUCH!

Here are the facts about stem cell research, based upon credible, non-partisan, peer-reviewed articles (i.e., scholarly sources): Most embryonic stem cells can be found in the umbilical cord and placenta. Scientists never legitimately validated the hypothesis that stems cells from embryos have any significant value for research. Almost all research conducted in this field indicate that this hypothesis will never be validated. Although research does indicate that one can clone blastocyst cells, the research focuses on the DNA which can be found in non-embryonic cells, extracted from therein, and yield the same results. In other words, taking an aborted fetus and using it for medical research is pointless. Therefore, the need to push for the legitimization of abortion through stem cell research is negated. The latest research in stem cell development indicates that "stem cells can be derived from reprogrammed adult skin cells, making it appear less important to use human embryos... researchers... were able to create embryonic stem cells by using skin cells". Well put but where's the evidence?

It is true that I am not a scientist. However, my training as a doctoral candidate allow me to obtain and analyze scholarly research for the purposes of forming an educated, informed and unbiased opinion. This research goes far beyond reading blogs and internet articles from incredible sources. As your next representative, I will continue to examine emerging and developing issues such as the one above from an unbiased standpoint. Nice answer and sounds better than what Hackett would come up with: uhmm.. the Republican party says this so I should just restate their principles.

I am playing catchup with the newspaper and I read someone's editorial on Dan Meuser in the Times Leader. After reading it I thought about putting my finger down the back of my throat and throwing up my potato pancakes. Instead I pissed my pants laughing at each sentence especially this part:

"Dan Meuser has worked tirelessly on behalf of disabled Americans, striving to ensure that they will continue to receive the equipment necessary to retain the ability to be productive and contributing members of society. He has supported, and will continue to support, those who understand and advocate for these same issues." (Source: Kevin Reilly, Dallas, editorial in November 22, 2007's Times Leader).

First of all... uh... WHAT???? Pride's customers scooters are retailers. Most of the retailer's customers are welfare recipients and retired/disabled people living on social security. This is not the marking of a productive and contributing member of society. Who the f*uck is this Kevin Reilly kidding? I pray that the voters of the 10th CD are not stupid enough to fall for this line of bullsh*t. Then again, Carney was elected.

#2 So Meuser is a great guy because he supports politicians and candidates who promise to fund his supply chain? These politicians include Charlie Rangel (who in my opinion sounds like Elmer Fudd) Hillary Clinton and "Uncle" Paul Kanjorski. Their agenda are far from those that the voters of the 10th CD want. But according to Meuser it's OK to support these candidates so long they fund his supply chain no matter what other issues they want to bring forward. Can anyone say: special interest? Yeah, this is a guy I want in office. Anyone who doesn't see past Meuser's real intentions is a complete moron and deserves to have their pubic hair pulled one by one with tweezers by a dominatrix named Mistress Helga.

How has Dan Meuser worked on behalf of the 1000+ employees? Moreover how has he worked on behalf of the 400+ who were laid off in the last 2 years? Are we to expect that in NEPA Pride really does pay well? What is considered to be good pay at Pride, $8.00/hour, or more? What is the pay scale at Pride compared to the average salary in NEPA? Does Dam Meuser really think sitting in his cushy office that the economy of NEPA is healthy? Until these questions are truthfully answered by someone this entire paragraph is complete and utter bias not represented by any facts.

Dan Meuser is not conservative with anything - not even the tanning booth and the teeth whitening. He's just trying to buy his way into Congress and the voters will probably let him.

I made it clear on my posts in other blogs that Meuser does not nor will he ever represent the values and beliefs of the tenth congressional district. Hell up until he decided to announce he never had a property in the district.

Here's the truth about Meuser: He is not a real conservative. He is not even a republican. He's a RINO. His values and beliefs represent those of a liberal democrat - you can't convince me otherwise. But he's going to win unless the county republicans decide to get their act together and promote other candidates more worthy of the position. Also the voters will buy into his bullsh*t.

I for one am not voting for Meuser and will continue to stand behind my reasons for not supporting him.

What do Dick Cheney a handshake and a Penn State University professor from Iowa have in common? The War in Iraq.

After invading Afghanistan and having no luck finding Osama Bin Laden, Bush and Cheney devised a plan to divert attention from a failed attempt to find the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks by trying to find a reason to go to war in Iraq. CIA reports found no link between Al Quaeda and Sadaam Hussein so Cheney and Feith decided to "reexamine the CIA findings" and come up with their own links. They hired some professor from Penn State University to find links and gave him a fancy title like Senior Pentagon Official. This professor, Chris Carney (we all know him as the guy who won the 2006 congressional election because he didn't beat up women) was told to make up false statements to convince the President of the United States to go to war. The finished product had 50 "points of evidence" (i.e. lies) linking Al Quaeda to Hussein. There are dozens of quality articles from credible sources documenting this truth.

Carney admits to coming up with these lies in the memo: "When asked whether there was a relationship between Sadaam Hussein and Al Qaida, here's what Carney said in his own words: “On a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 was no connection and 10 was operational control, I would say it’s about a 2½.”

2 1/2 out of 10, and how many young men and women lost their lives? Way to go Carney!!!
