I'll trade you sex for cigarettes

65 y-o pervert: uh.. ok

This is just f*cking sick!!! Sex offenders are the lowest f*cking scum on the face of this earth and the news is full of them lately. In the last week the news reported over 4 incidents where perverts got arrested. What's even more disgusting is that one of the people arrested was a youth pastor from Kingston: a man of the cloth who's supposed to lead and guide our youth in the ways of Jesus Christ. Instead the pervert shoves his d*ck in the very kids that look up to him.

SHAME ON YOU YOU FUCKING PRICK I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL

Just when I thought Kingston was close enough to my home there was another story that happened in my home town. The worst thing is that this f*cking *sshole who sexually assaulted a 15 year old girl lives in a home a few feet away from people I know and respect. There are other young kids in that tiny neighborhood. I'm sure they're all shocked to find out that someone like that lives that close to them.

The Times Liberal reported that 65-year-old "Anthony Wayne Gregorio, of Pauline Street, was charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, indecent assault and endangering the welfare of children."
"The girl told investigators in April that Gregorio purchased cigarettes for her in exchange for sex." hence my recap of their conversation at the top of the page.

"She said the assaults took place mostly on the weekends at Gregorio’s home, police said. Investigators questioned Gregorio in May. He said he knew his relationship with the girl was wrong" Wait a second: RELATIONSHIP?!?!?!?!? The girl is 50 years younger than you. You thought you had a relationship? What kind of sick f*ck are you? Oh wait this pervert's statement gets better:

“It was something that happened." I guess it was not a big deal to you then. I'm glad my kids are grown up so I don't have to kick your *ss whenever I see you.

"I regret what happened and I wish I can take it back,” You're really going to wish you did nothing wrong when you're bleeding our your gaping *sshole in prison.

"According to the complaint, Gregorio claimed to have sex with the girl a few times". How many times is a few with a 15 year old girl? a few too many. Even once is too much.

and said he knew her age, acknowledging it “was against the law.” Officer I knew what I did was wrong. Can you just slap me on the wrists like a county courthouse employee? I promise to never, ever do it again. *wink wink* - ROT IN HELL YOU F*CK.

Hey, this story gets even worse!!! WNEP and WILK reported that this girl was his granddaughter. Here's a warning to you parents: if this sick f*ck can do this to his own flesh and blood don't think he wouldn't think twice about having your kids over for a few Newports.

I congratulate the police for nabbing this guy and Judge Carmody for keeping him locked up since the pervert couldn't afford the bail - maybe he spent too much money on cigarettes and a makeover.

I am dissappointed in WNEP for blurring out this guy's face on their website. the guy f*cked a kid. His face should be plastered all over NEPA so parents all over the area know who he is what he looks like and to keep their kids away from him. And the criminal court system should castrate the f*cker - no lean penalties should be given to pricks like him. A few years in prison won't put parents at relief.

In other news Obama gets the democratic nod reassessment is the luzerne county dems way of getting even with the taxpayers and it will be hazy hot and humid this weekend.

Is politics as usual dying?

After watching last night's pa-10 race it dawned on me. The machine that was once the GOP is proven to be weak and those in control of the republican party are beginning to lose their grip. The voters are beginning to voice their disgust at where the party leaders want the GOP to head.

On the Presidential level we had two strong candidates with a machine behind them: Romni and Guliani. The voters spoke all across the country and both once front runners are now history. The voters were not impressed with who the party wants in office. The party leaders are proven to be out of touch with the voters. Instead of wanting Romni or Guliani as our candidate the voters pushed two 2nd tier candidates to the forefront: Huckabee and McCain. Neither had a machine but got a lot of momentum when they realized that the machine can be broken. Obviously the voters didn't like who the GOP wanted us to choose. If the voters didn't speak up Mike Huckabee would have never had the opportunity presented to him. It just goes to show that the liberal media is wrong AGAIN: the conservative movement is not dead

Here in the 10th we had a very close race between two business owners. Meuser had a machine in place. He had the entire party locked down to the point that the 2nd tier candidate and the two third tier candidates had no other choice but to drop out. The machine in place also put Hackett in a quasi-underdog position. Meuser outspent Hackett. Meuser had more lawn signs in key areas. Meuser bought the party leadership. Hackett still faced the machine and won. In order to do so he had to spend over $600,000 of his own money - something no other candidate in the race could do to compete. I wish Hackett a lot of luck and he's going to need it. even if he doesn't beat Carney he did something for the - according to Obama - disgruntled middle-class voters of PA: he gave us hope that the machine can be beaten.

I may be dreaming but the schism in the party is starting to revive the conservative movement and giving the voters some real options. Maybe one day party leadership can decide to listen to the voters regroup and stick to its traditional conservative roots.

Hillary beats Obama; Ron Paul/Huckabee get votes

No surprise.

I predict that Obama will still come out as the democratic nomination despite Hillary's boring win in PA. I just hope McCain is taking notes on these two nimrods. He's going to need as much fuel as possible to compete.

Like any other conservative I cannot stand McCain and I was not surprised that there were people voting for Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee in protest. I think that in order to win McCain is going to need a strong conservative running mate who people can get behind. I said it was going to be a close race and it was. I didn't know who to throw my vote to.

There were a few issues for me that I was bothered about:

Meuser lives in the 11th district and only bought a vacation home in the 10th. Not to paraphrase a former candidate in this race but he didn't seem to represent the values and the economic scale of the people of the 10th. I don't know too many people living in the 10th who can just go ahead and buy a second home worth over $350k.

Hackett hired an illegal alien to clean his house.

Hackett started slinging mud knowing full well the establishment was on Meuser's side.

Meuser's PAC gave money to libs.

The list goes on and on - just go ahead and read my posts

Then there was the issue of integrity: Hackett blew the race for the republicans by slinging mud and getting it thrown back in his face. Carney now has more ammo. Meuser was actually the gentleman in the race and I respect him tremendously for it... among other things including the fact that he employs close to a thousand people in the area and he along with his family built that business to where it is now. I spoke to the guy I once endorsed as candidate (Swiderski) and here's what he had to say about Meuser as a businessman:

"Eddy,

I know I shouldn't respond to this email because I get a lot of heat for speaking my mind. I know how 'bloggerville' was all over for me saying nice things about Hackett's early mass media advertising, but I like to tell people what's on my mind rather than 'sugar coat' answers or not provide a straight answer. As a candidate I believed that it was best to be front and forward with the people. This is the same philosophy and level of ethics that I built my business on. If a competitor does something worth noting, then I have no problem telling people that the competitor is worth being acknowledged for it. If it costs me business, then so be it. Likewise, in an election, if it cost me votes or the chance to face Chris Carney in an election because I speak my mind then the nomination isn't worth it to me if I can't have rapport with the voters. Either way, I can go to bed at the end of the day knowing full well I'll have a good night's rest - unlike most Washington politicians. My straightforwardness is great for business but makes me a lousy politician :)

With the above being said, I cannot deny that Dan Meuser and his family are great businesspeople. How many people can honestly say they can grow a business 400%+ and sustain it? Pride Mobility is the epitomy of what entrepreneurship is all about. From a business perspective, the Meuser family did what they had to do to successfully grow their enterprise and gainfully employ approx. 1000 people.

I don't know Dan personally and would have liked to have the opportunity to get to know him a bit during the race, so I cannot say anything about his personal values or beliefs. However, the attachment to the Pride PAC was something that - although great for business - could hurt his chances as a republican candidate. Nonetheless, we have two highly qualified
candidates to choose from in this primary. Although I endorsed Chris Hackett, I wish both candidates the best of luck tonight. I will not be ashamed to throw my full support behind the winner of tonight's primary."

I - eddytheangryrepublican - voted for Meuser this election. KAR (AKA Kevin Reynolds), you can lick my *ss whenever you want.

I know people called Swiderski a moron but at least he endorsed the right candidate. Hackett won by a slim margin. I wouldn't put it past Meuser to challenge the votes though.

Hell I didn't vote for Hackett but I gotta admit he's the best we have right now against Carney.
Frankly I think he's the only candidate of the two who could beat him. I have two last things to say:

First - to Chris Hackett - I didn't believe in you even though i beleived in the candidate who endorsed you. Congratulations on the win and for giving us hope for defeating the machine. Make us proud in taking the seat back for the GOP. You have my full support.

Next - to the republican voters of the 10th district - WE cannot allow a lib DC to control our lives and take away our freedoms. Please support Chris Hackett in his run for the 10th. Contact his campaign and get a lawn sign make phone calls canvass neighborhoods do whatever you have to to get this man elected. Our rights and freedoms that we hold dear are at stake.

Get out and VOTE!!!

In case you're living under a rock somewhere today is primary day. Vote for the candidate who best represents your interests and ideals.

Or in the case of the two hottest contests today vote for the lesser of two evils.

The republican Presidential race is locked down but some Ron Paul supporters still show their support. In my opinion why bother? The democratic primary is definitely one where you have the choice of the lesser two evils. Do you want the rich bitch who will raise taxes or the guy who can't salute the flag and will raise taxes? Tough choice. Either way a $15 billion tax increase is coming. My take is that Hillary will win PA but Obama will take the nomination at the end of the day - the first since Kennedy to win the Democratic nomination without winning the keystone state.

Who's going to try to oust Carney? Hackett or Meuser? I'm still undecided on this one. Hackett shows himself to be weak on illegal immigration by not deporting senorita housekeeper. Hackett also showed himself to get a little raunchy by attacking Meuser's record of giving to dems. On the other hand Hackett shows he's not afraid to play the game to win. Meuser still doesn't live in the district and this is an issue for me. He gave money to some libs and this is an issue for me. On the other hand he did make an honest attempt at sticking to the issues at hand and showed himself to be a true gentleman during the primary race. I also think that Meuser has a better machine in place. This one is too close to call: Hackett's tactics are either going to make him squeak by past Meuser or Meuser will win by a 5-4 margin. I am not voting for either candidate.

Oh yeah there is another smaller race - James May vs. Boback. I'm rooting for May.

I'm heading out to vote now.

What the ____?

I found this story on foxnews.com:

"A Venezuelan TV channel, under the watchful eye of President Hugo Chavez, has yanked "The Simpsons" off the air after a government agency ruled it may be inappropriate for children...
Televen TV station spokeswoman Elba Guillen said Monday that the decision to hand over the daily 11 a.m. time slot came after the state National Telecommunications Commission said it had received complaints from viewers.

"It had to be taken off," Guillen said. "They consider it to be a series that isn't appropriate for that time because it isn't appropriate for children."

OK I agree with the fact that the Simpsons aren't actually suitable for children so let's replace the time slot with some programming that young children can get something out of. I flipped through the stations on my TV to see what kind of appropriate kid shows were on here in the US around 11 AM. Here's what I found:

Barney - the purple dinosaur that instills traditional values in preschoolers

Ni Hau, Kai-lan - a cutsie show for preschoolers that teaches kids a few Chinese words - not very useful in Venezuela

Oswald - a little boring and mind-numbing show about an octopus and his dog weenie. I don't get the show but then again its not aimed at my age group. I did a little research and found that Oswald is for kids under the age of 3.

Sponge Bob - Are you ready kids!!! This show is as pointless as wiping your *ss before you take a crap. I'd rather the simpsons.

So, what did Hugo Chavez replace the Simpsons with? Was it with one of these wholesome kid shows?

NO!!!! They took the Simpsons off the air because it was inappropriate for children and replaced it with "Baywatch," which features bikini-clad bombshells and muscle-bound hunks working as lifeguards on the Hawaiian coast, has been running in the 11 a.m. slot since Friday."

Hugo Chavez great move!!! Let's remove programming that is unsuitable for toddlers and replace it with Baywatch!!! Can someone please explain to me how Baywatch qualifies as quality children's programming?

Como se dice "Hackett is a hypocryte" en Espanol?

In case you're living under a rock Hackett started digging up some dirt on his opponents and found that Damn Meuser hired some illegal aliens eons ago. This is starting to sound like a Hillary Clinton tactic. Dig up dirt from something that happened 13 years ago when you yourself are guilty of doing the same.

Damn Meuser decides to fire back after finding out that Senor Hackett hired a little housekeeper - the stereotype of hiring a young sexy little Latino lolita lingers in the back of my mind. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

ANTI-SLANDER COMMENT: This may not be the case but the Cialis is kicking in.

Grab the shovel Chris 'cause guess what! You're digging yourself a bigger hole for yourself. First you f*ck up any chances of getting the GOP seat back in the 10th and now you're trying to over-explain yourself. There's a fine line between coming clean and burying yourself in sh*t.

Hackett claims to have done nothing wrong by allegedly mistakingly hiring a lolita and firing her once she admitted she was an illegal alien. According to ICE officials Chris Hackett did exactly what he was supposed to do: fire her. Here's where the hypocracy exists: Chris Hackett says he takes a strong stance on illegal immigration. So why the f*ck didn't the deuschebag report her to ICE? His excuse was that he didn't want to violate her humanitarian rights and that he didn't feel he was required to report her. Granted the guy wasn't supposed to report her but you can't say that you take a strong stance on illegal immigration by letting her roam free to scrub someone else's floors in a cute little maid outfit on her hands and knees and wait around for the libs to give her amnesty. Here's a guy who's claiming to run on a platform to be part of a solution not part of the problem. By failing to report her to ICE he is allowing a broken system to work. Doesn't sound like much of a guy who's trying to be part of a solution to me. If he were really strong on illegal immigration he would have had her *ss deported.

Mr. Hackett will tell you that it's not the people's job to act as policemen after reading the above paragraph criticizing his actions or lack thereof. Uhmm... Chris you're not acting as a policeman by reporting her to ICE any more or any less than if you were to call the police if you saw someone breaking into your neighbor's house. You would be just informing the proper authorities to investigate and leave the matter in their own hands. WAY TO GO CHRIS!!!

This Gets Better Yet!!!
OneSource got investigated for hiring illegals many times!!! Hackett's claim is that employees provided false identification and that the people who "probably" illegal aliens were hired unknowingly. I don't know much about this area but I'm sure there's gotta be a way that a temp agency can verify SSNs so before writing this I relied on someone who knows more about business than I do. I asked Paul Swiderski (you know the guy who dropped out of the race?) if employers can check employees' social security numbers. Here's what he said:

Eddy,

Any employer can verify the Social Security Number of new hires, as well as existing employees, by using the Social Security Administration’s Social Security Number Verification Service (SSNVS) or the Dept. of Homeland Security’s e-Verify service. Both programs are free. To verify legal working status, you need to use the Dept. of Homeland Security’s e-Verify system. I don’t know a lot about the latter program but know that it is available. Links to each program are below:

www.uscis.gov/E-verify

http://www.ssa.gov/employer/ssnv.htm

I know a lot more about the SSNVS program. I strongly advise my small business clients, particularly new employers, to take advantage of this service in an effort to avoid any problems with quarterly/annual payroll tax return filings. All new employers whom I do business with are provided with a booklet that details information on their compliance and tax responsibilities as employers. Directions on how to access the database are provided in this booklet.

There are two methods in which an employer can verify SSNs:

“Verify up to 10 names and SSNs (per screen) online and receive immediate results. This option is ideal to verify new hires.

Upload overnight files of up to 250,000 names and SSNs and usually receive results the next government business day. This option is ideal if you want to verify an entire payroll database or if you hire a large number of workers at a time (SSA, 2008).”

The intent of the database is only to verify an employee’s SSN for tax purposes. It is not meant to be used for the purposes of conducting a witch hunt on your employees. The SSA strictly prohibits an employer from

“taking punitive action against an employee whose name and Social Security number do not match Social Security's records… A mismatch does not make any statement about an employee's immigration status and is not a basis, in and of itself, for taking any adverse action against an employee. Doing so could subject you to anti-discrimination or labor law sanctions” (SSA, 2008, par. 2).

SSA, 2008, Information and Instructions [for use of SSNVS]. Sure there are great epic movies today but few will ever become classics like Ben Hurr the Ten Commendments and the Planet of the Apes. In some of these classic movies was one of the bravest conservative leaders in Hollywood in an ocean of liberal scum. Hey in Hollywood anyone who openly admits they're conservative is brave. It's easy to be a lib in movie land but it's difficult to face them remain steadfast to your principles and not get sucked into the Hollywood hype.

No matter whether you like his movies (or even saw them) you have to admit that he believed firmly in his right to speak up no matter what the cost. He knew he was going to get heat speaking up and for being one of the few voices of conservatives in Libland. He did it anyway and often with charisma. Charlton Heston was a patriot in every respect of the word. He will be missed.

I'm back!!!

Howdy. I'm back and madder than ever!!!

The Gulf coast was warm and sunny and the fishing was great. Now that the primary is one month away it's time to start commenting again.

Meuser's taking a beating from Hackett and it won't be long before he starts firing back - boy it's gonna get UGLY!!! Looks like Hackett just blew it for the republicans in the 10th. WAY TO GO CHRIS!

On to the Presidential race. Here we have two libs promising to raise taxes by $15 billion and who they're targeting may be surprising. FOX NEWS reported that Obama and Hillary are targeting the poor and middle class with their tax increases. Wonderful. In the meantime we have some schmuck from Arizona who *oops* called himself a conservative liberal republican who is getting pounded by the same campaign reform law that bears his name refused to make the Bush tax cuts permanent and can't make a stand on illegal alien reform. It doesn't matter who's getting in the White House our country is screwed. America it's time to bend over and break out the ky jelly.

I been away

I am sorry for not posting for a while but not sorry at the same time. You can have the sh*tty NEPA weather I am down south sitting on the west coast of Florida catching 10 pound plus channel cats near Clearwater. But I'll be back for the primary.

I may be away but I'm keeping tabs on some things.

The 10th race is quiet because everyone is busy getting petitions. My prediction is that Swiderski & Haire will pull out of this race before the 12th. Haire will be busy checking for his own cataracts thinking he can get the 1000 signatures needed to enter this contest and if he endorses anyone it will be Meuser. Swiderski probably won't get the required amount either based on a conversation I had with him earlier today. He says that tax season is keeping him from getting out there meeting people and that he's relying on a dozen volunteers to get the deal sealed. Someone get me the crash cards because this guy's campaign is flatline. Look I like the guy and support him but I am trying to be as "objective" as possible. He made an attempt at trying to do make a difference but it just wasn't his time. Given the constraints of tax season he had no chance to beat Meuser and Hackett with shoe leather. The good news is that if he doesn't get the signatures needed to get on the ballot Swiderski said he will spend his time doing what I think is worthwhile and that is rebuilding the party in Luzerne County. At least the guy didn't pull a Bill "the baby" Jones. Swiderski and me agree that the republican party needs to be rebuilt. With all the sh*t that's going on in the county we need a republican leader now than ever. Nobody's willing to step up to the plate so why not Swiderski? The people complain that there's no young people wanting to get involved in politics and the voters complain that there are no real leaders in the party on the local level. I dont know about you but I think Swiderski would better serve the party here on the local level rebuilding the party and with some help turning the GOP into a machine here in the county. hey this is a blog. Let's see what everyone else thinks.

On the presidential level Romni and McCain suck. Shame on the PAGOP for endorsing McCain. I guess flip flops are in fashion.

Why Petrilla shouldn't be the new chairperson

The Times Liberal headlines give you the best reason why:

Skrep backs Petrilla as new chair

ScrapNeck the debit czar is in no position to back anyone for anything. He and the other Children of the Coal misused our tax dollars for lavish dinners questionable travel expenses and strippers. Then they have the b*lls to say that they did nothing wrong and they laugh it off as if it were a joke. It's a good thing that we have guys like Tim Greier who stuck his tattooed neck into this mess to speak up for the taxpayers. We need more guys like him getting involved but the problem is that when someone wants to shake things up the machine discredits them. Guys like Tim have the b*lls and thick skin to face these corrupt *ssholes while the rest of the people watch from the sidelines with their d*cks tied around their nutsacks. If people want change they have to get involved or at least get behind those who want to make change happen.

ScrapNeck is corrupt. Any politician or any person who supported his campaign should hang their heads in shame (cough cough Hackett - thanks for adding to the problems we have!). You can't take this guy for face value. Any word coming from ScrapNeck's mouth should be examined as close as his carb and calorie intake. If ScrapNeck says he supports something we should immediately challenge it.

Now the other reason:

Petrilla is just as guilty for the problems at the county as ScrapNeck. Hell she's the f*cking county controller! The county controller is responsible for making sure that the finances are in order and for monitoring money flow. The county controller is responsible for making policies and enforcing policies to make sure that there are checks and balances in place to prevent things like the debit card debachle from happening. Now we're going to put her as the county chair??? She miserably failed at a leadership position and it was all her doing. There were no extraenous circumstances here. She plain and simple f*cked up big time. She should be asked to step down. She should not accept the higher leadership position.

Saying all that who is the best person for the job? Is it Steve Urban? My take: HELL NO!!!

Steve Urban is a p*ssy and a failed leader. He's supposed to be the Luzerne County Republican Party leader. His lack of leadership makes the county party a laughing stock. We need someone to take over the party leadership but this is never going to happen. I talked to a lot of people and found out that the PA GOP is well aware of the problems with the county party. The PA GOP continues to ignore the problems with the county party. Their best solution is to leave the county party defunct. Nobody at the state party in Harrisburg wants to talk to anyone interested in doing something about the county party problems (more on this in another post later).

I propose that ScrapNeck remains the county chair. now hear me out on that one. If we have guys like Tim Greier breathing down the county's neck and people actually getting involved and supporting this guy citizens can take back the county government beginning with watching fat*ss's every move. Continued public scrutiny is the best solution until ScrapNeck is up for reelection. While we're watching the fat boy eating twinkies we as concerned citizens band together to start a new more active county republican party. I have some suggestions for a few good leaders to revitalize the county GOP (more on this in another post later).

a"meus"ing

The one thing I can't stand about blogs is the number of hacks out there attacking candidates. The race for the 10th is no exception. There are a sh*tload of faceless anonymous hacks for Dan Meuser. Only one makes himself well known: KAR (yes you can take a f*cking bow). These hacks are just an indication of how Meuser will run his campaign.

I'm sure many of us bloggers are sick of these hacks because they have no value to add to these forums. It's one thing to support a candidate and it's OK to let people know about a candidate's lack of credibility. But it's another to throw mud at candidate because you think it's the best way to win an election.

Meuser is a f*cking moron and so are his hacks. What good is a candidate if all he does is hire faceless *ssholes to smear other candidates? Looks like Carney has a lot of fire power. Carney has enough fire power to destroy Meuser's campaign, especially when the word gets out that:

Pride's products are known for defects and killed several people - no apology from Meuser.

Meuser had a recent sexual harassment lawsuit brought against him by a former employee of PRIDE. What happened to that lawsuit? Hmm.. did he pay her off? Is she the only one he made advances on? I heard that there are others.

Pride got an $80,000 slap on the wrist from the feds for Medicare fraud.

Meuser gave tens of thousands of dollars to Hillary and other dems.

Meuser still doesn't live in the 10th. He only bought a vacation home in Harvey's Lake.

Pride laid off 200+ people in the last 3 years as a result of cutbacks.

Meuser has a nasty temper. It doesn't take much to set him off.

Meuser is micromanaging his campaign. Word says that he's going to challenge every line item in the nomination petitions to keep the other candidates off the ballot.

Meuser's afraid of competition.

Meuser exploits small businesses in his supply chain.

The ethics at Pride are questionable.

The real reason why Meuser's in the race is to keep Carney in office.

Meuser isn't interested in being our representative. Let the facts speak for themselves. He won't run in his own district against Kanjorski because he gave money to Uncle Paul Kanjorski so that he gets kickbacks to Pride making him more wealthy. Meuser loves liberal democrats. Now that we have a lib in office in the 10th the best thing Meuser can do is to use his wealth to discredit anyone running against Carney. If he helps Carney keep his seat Pride will get earmarks and kickbacks from Carney. This means more money in Meuser's pockets. Exponentially more than he is spending on the campaign.

Is honesty the best policy?

Swiderski let out a big skeleton this week: his company Swiderski & Associates, LLC went under. Here's what he said:

"Against the wishes of my campaign committee, I wish to disclose to you my faults. The voters have a right to know the people who want to represent them. I am making it aware to all of you that I, like any other human being, am not perfect. What we normally have in campaigns are people who try to pretend to be perfect in all respects. I, as an average citizen and a Christian, do not believe in pretending to be someone who I am not. Such a feat can only lead to distrust." True but a rather boring statement

"Although 2006 started out well for my firm, it turned out to be a financially terrible year for my business when our area experienced flooding that was not expected. Many small businesses were impacted by this flood and had to close. I lost 43% of my business and had to reorganize. Part of the reorganization plan required that my company file for bankruptcy protection and close the company." OUCH!!! Looks like the Business Doctor needs a prescription for something.

"Any and all existing clients were transferred to a new enterprise owned by me." Smart move. Close the company down start a new one and move forward. Better than going down with the ship and losing everything you own.

"I am letting the truth be known about this event because media spin may try to make me look like an incompetent accountant when this is not the case. Certainly, I know how to pay my bills on time, but when you lose 43% of your business there is no way to keep your company thriving. After losing such business, there just simply wasn’t enough revenue to meet business obligations." OK we get it. An act of God comes through the area and kills your company.

"There are many reasons for filing for bankruptcy other than financial mismanagement. One such reason is to prevent a law suit. Another reason is to allow a small business owner a “fresh start” due to mishandling of money. My situation was due to neither." Yeah we got that from the last paragraph. I have a dead horse you can beat when you're done with this statement.

"I made the mistake of opening a small business out of necessity with very little capital." You and about half of the little guys out there make the same mistake.

"(My wife took ill and I was laid off from my job while taking a leave of absence from work. My employer let me go, and I was denied unemployment. With no money coming in, I had to do something to make money, so I took whatever money I had left - $300 - and advertised that I did tax preparation)." There is a more detailed explanation on his campaign blog:

"Five years ago, when my wife had cancer, I took a leave of absence from work to only be let go shortly thereafter. I was denied unemployment compensation, and with bills piling I knew I had to do something to make ends meet.

"I took all the money I had and paid whatever bills needed to be paid at the time. All I had left was $300. I had no other money coming in and couldn't take on a full-time job at the time. I needed to take care of things at home. Having a one year old daughter at the time made things tougher. I took that $300, put an ad in the paper and spent the rest on some office supplies and a flea market booth to market myself as an accountant specializing in income tax preparation. I prayed that I would make enough money to pay some more bills until I found another job. This was in mid-March with less than 6 weeks left to filing deadline.

"By the end of those six weeks, there was so much money made that I forgot about the job search and decided to pursue the venture with a full-time effort.

As the business grew, I kept investing whatever little money was left over to keep growing the business. After the flood of 2006 came, over half of my receivables became uncollectible. At the same time, my home had flood damage (I don’t live in a flood plain, so I was never required to have flood insurance, and my homeowners’ insurance didn’t cover the damage. I had to spend close to $10,000 replacing appliances, repairing my foundation, and taking care of mold remediation.). A lot of homeowners found out how insurance companies screw them. so what the f*ck are homeowners really paying for? On the other hand, this kid keeps running a business with little or no capital - it seems. the Business Doctor should have known that this would bite him in the *ss later.

"Certainly, my company had financial obligations to meet, but when your revenue drops to the point that you can no longer meet those obligations, you have to cut back on costs to make an honest attempt at making those payments. A loss of 43% of revenue makes it difficult to do so. I had no other choice but to close that business." Thank you for the Small Business Management 101 lecture.

"I live very modestly, so there wasn’t much room to cut back costs. My home is nothing to brag about, my wife and I don’t drive luxury cars, and my only school-age child goes to public school." OK he's not wealthy. We all knew that.

"I am not proud of having to make the decision to close my company, but in order to protect whatever assets I had worked hard to earn I had no other choice. " I don't think that anyone will go out in the streets and brag that the bottom fell out. Looking at the facts according to Swiderski presented I don't see how anyone could have a choice but to do what he did with the business.

"Any small business owner in my position would have made the same choice." There is another option: go down with the ship in flames. Of course there's the hindsight option: raise capital but this is hard to do. Our government and big businesses don't make it easy for the small business owner to succeed. Not everyone can marry into the family business or buy his business from the government. I used to own a business and I can tell you all first hand how the odds are stacked against you.

"A big business, however, can take a big hit and move on." Yeah like Pride's $80,000 medicare fraud settlement.

"Throughout this short period of time – even though money was tight - I still was able to and continue to make my personal monthly obligations on time." Despite the fact that I had a horrible year in 2006, my clients still trust me to manage their books. Two of Donald Trump’s businesses filed for bankruptcy within the last ten years, and people continue to do business with him. Milton Hershey failed at business six times before starting his famous chocolate enterprise. Throughout his bad years, he had investors who believed in his ideas. People still shop at Kmart. The failure of a small business due to uncontrollable circumstances should not deter the owner from representing other small business owners in Congress. Rather, my experience is nothing more than a perfect example of the hardship of small business ownership which relates me more to the common entrepreneur in the 10th congressional district. If anyone should represent small business owners in government, it should be someone who can relate to them." Thanks to a lawyer buddy of mine I was able to see the public record of filing. I am not a CPA but there is nothing in the filing to lead me to believe that there was any mishandling of money or that someone went crazy with credit limits. I have no reason to believe that Swiderski's ability to run a business other than doing so with no capital was a factor.

"I have been open and honest with my clients about this incident, and I feel that the voters deserve to know the truth as well from the source. Part of my decision to run for is so that I can help prevent the loss of other small businesses." Well now the voters know your side of the story but for Godsake do you have to sound like a freakin' crusader?

Now for my take:

Rightwinger put it best:

Paul pretty much came out with what I think is a rather large skeleton in his closet... I can understand him wanting to get this out in the open before someone else could jump on it and put their own personal spin on it. I'm just not sure how I feel about it. Paul, your honesty up front is appreciated. While it's appreciated, I don't know if it was the right decision coming out with it. I'll have to think about this one.

Rightwinger I am torn too. On the one hand Swiderski did the right thing to kill Meuser's hacks (KAR AKA Kevin Reynolds AKA Anonymous and I am lead to believe Westsider is a hack for one of the campaigns too) who were trying to bring this out in the forefront and destroy Swiderski's campaign. On the other hand Swiderski may have put the brakes on his campaign with this statement. Then again maybe not...

Regardless Meuser's campaign is now finished thanks to KAR AKA Kevin Reynolds AKA Anonymous. The only thing I see here is that the big corporate executive is beating up on the struggling small business owner tightening the noose on the little guy while paying off liberal politicians who make the laws that help destroy small business and hinder economic growth. Swiderski never had a chance before this all came out. Meuser could have let Swiderski fall off the radar quietly. Now Meuser gave Swiderski free press while creating more controversy for himself.

Mr. Jones joins the dark side of the force

tsk tsk tsk

Bill Jones leaves the republican party out of disgust. He loses an election and decides to move to the dark side of the force - the democrat party. At the very least this loser could have become an independent. Maybe he just wanted a debit card.

But who's really to blame?

Billy "the baby" Jones is blaming the Luzerne County Republicans for his loss. We all know that the county party is a joke and the laughing stock of the state. Following a close second is Lackawanna's. Baby Jones is right that there is no leadership on the local scene. It's no secret that the Luzerne County GOP is a bunch of cowering slobs who don't have the balls to stand up to the Children of the Coal (Luzerne County Democrats). Lynn should either take off the Depends and stop pissing herself every election cycle or step down. Urban Geurilla likes to hide in the trees somewhere along the proposed dam site (yes the project is still alive it's just quiet). Other committee members are like little trolls who don't want to leave the sacred shelters of old abandoned coal mines.

With all the f*cking problems that the democrats are facing this is the time for the GOP to step up to the plate and take back the county government. but they won't. They're either too lazy or too afraid to make any move.

Bill Jones already sounds like a democrat. He's playing the blame game. Baby Jones is crying: wah wah wah the woozune county wepubwicans didn't hewp me wah wah wah. F*CKING A
Show some balls and take responsibility for your loss you baby. If anyone running in Luzerne County thinks that the county party's going to help them is more disillusioned than a deadhead dropping acid in front of a Christmas tree. Anyone thinking the Luzerne County Party is going to help their campaign has more than candy canes dancing in their heads. Baby Jones should have known better.

Here's my take: The Luzerne County Republicans are - to quote our stupid President - a quagmire. Looking for support from them is like asking W for an endorsement: a bad move. Baby Jones has nobody but himself to blame for his failure. Instead of trying to fix the problem, he adds to it by leaving and joining the dark side of the force.

tsk
tsk
tsk

My prediction for the 10th

We all know that I am biased to one specific candidate but I am going to be completely unbiased here to give you my prediction for the 10th:

Ely is a good guy but he's so far off the radar that he's not going to get more than 5% of the vote.

Hackett despite giving that used car salesman aura is one of two winnable candidates. He has money and can speak more about the issues than any other candidate. Take the fact that he's playing party line politics if we restore seats in the house this November he has the chance to get funded by all the RNC leadership PACs. If his campaign is successful he will be a lifer. I don't like him or trust him but he is someone who can get the voters behind him. Besides he can beat Carney. He keeps hammering away at Carney every chance he gets. He's also the only candidate who can throw money around to compete against Meuser.

Meuser's only chance at winning the primary is money. His past contributions sexual harrassment lawsuit and medicare fraud settlement will haunt his campaign and that's something that money will not be able to resolve. He may win the primary but he won't get past Carney. Carney will play the nasty liberal games the democrats play and retain his seat is Meuser wins. I wouldn't put it past Carney to use Meuser's dirt against him to win.

Swiderski has the policies in place to be a serious candidate but without money or grassroots support he's going to fall off the radar and never get his message across. He positions himself well but looking at the money that's needed to run he's never going to raise enough to make a serious run. I like the guy and what he stands for and the fact that he won't win will not stop me from voting for him. I endorse him because he is the best candidate in my opinion even if he's not going anywhere.

My take on the tenth: a close race between Hackett and Meuser. If Hackett wins we get the seat back if Meuser wins we won't.

It's about F*ckin' Time!

Candidate Paul Swiderski finally officially announces his candidacy. You can read the press release here.

There are a couple of things I gotta say about this guy and his campaign:

My sentiments: It's about f*cking time he stopped playing Mr. Mom and got his *ss out there in public. Cut the cord baby and push these 120+ days like they were your last.

This one's for the panzies who said they were going to support him once he announces: Take your foot out of your mouths and put your money where you said you were going to put it. Write a check and mail it to the man. Go on his site and make a contribution. Go to slatecard.com and contribute there. Give this guy whatever you can. He's going to need it to compete against Hack & Muse. and if you don't have money to spare help out in other ways.

To Paul: I believe in you and will do whatever it takes to get you in office. But don't make an *ss out of me. I'll be watching your *ss when you get into Congress. Don't disappoint me or the people. In the meantime get your game on and make us all proud.

Now kick some tail Paul!!!! America needs you. NEPA needs you.

Couple charged in toddler's death and the libs are going to have a field day

Some scum bag from Hazleton (originally a transplant from Rochester) beat the living sh*t out of his girlfriend's 2 year old kid. If this wasn't bad enough the guy did this over a period of 72 hours.

Coroner Jack Consalvo had this to say:
"There were about 115 bruises on his body in various stages of healing, he said, meaning the boy had suffered repeated beatings"
"multiple blunt-force strikes had caused his brain to swell to twice its usual size, a rib to fracture and puncture his lung and a laceration of his liver"
"This child survived that for a period of time and lived in a terrible state... the boy suffered from the injuries for up to 72 hours... In my tenure as coroner, this is the worst thing I’ve seen.”

The kid's f*cking lame*ss mother did nothing but watch as this all happenned.

The story gets better according to the Times Liberal: "Later that day, the couple discussed taking the boy to the hospital because he wasn’t feeling well" No sh*t!!! You let your scumbag boyfriend beat the shit out of the kid multiple times throwing him against the wall and the spicket of the bath tub and you only discuss taking the kid to the hospital? What the f*ck is wrong with you? Someone should cut your tubes out with a pearing knife - you're not fit to be a mother. You make me sick you f*cking piece of trash.

Instead of taking the kid to the hospital immediately "they decided to wait until Monday because they had no money and the medical personnel might suspect they had caused the injuries." Now the kid is dead because your boyfriends abusive and you're incompetent. Having no money is not an excuse for getting your kids medical care. Besides, don't these scumbags have an Access Card? Hmm... maybe they don't even have a green card. If that's the case then you have no f*cking business here in the U.S. I hope Lou Barletta b*tch slaps you both to Mexico. Wait I'm going on a tangent. Let's me get back to the real issue here: your kid is sick you get care for them immediately. If your boyfriend is beating the sh*t out of your kid then be a parent and have some f*cking balls. Stand up for your kid call the cops and get this *sshole away from your kid. Where's your motherly instinct?

"That night, however, the boy began to vomit and had difficulty breathing, so Torres called for an ambulance around midnight." Horrible. These people make me sick.
"On the way to the hospital, she said, Garcia apologized and claimed to not have meant to hurt the child. He kept crying and begging for forgiveness and telling her he would get help" Don't believe him. This is the typical playbook pass for people with abusive personalities.
This guy is beyond help. I hope he burns in hell with satan hanging him by his nutsack sticking his pitchfork up this prick's *ss.

One question remains: what would possess someone to act like this and beat the sh*t out of a 2 year old or any age kid? According to the Times Liberal "Garcia had become increasingly angry and had begun hitting Gonzalez for the boy’s inability to be toilet trained." This is disgusting! PETA would be all over your *ss if you slapped a puppy with a newspaper. People should be all over your *ss for beating up a child. Two year old kids can piss even the most tolerant of parents but it's never an excuse to beat the sh*t out of a child. So the kid pisses on your floor and sh*ts on a blanket. Put a f*cking diaper on the kid and clean the mess up. Don't give me any excuses that you don't know how to clean. I see lots of illegals cleaning hotel rooms and working as maids.

I hope you get the death penalty you worthless piece of sh*t.

Mark my words though the libs are going to have a field day when the trial begins. They're going to try to make you feel sorry for this lump of sh*t so he doesn't fry. Scrapneck and the rest of the Children of the Valley (I'll explain this title later) are now embarrassed that the people of the Luzerne County exposed their cronies for who they really are. They should be embarrassed!!! Especially for using taxpayer dollars for illegitimate expenses:

Hey let's use a county debit card for a couple of lap dances so that our wives don't see the charges!!! Oops! Now the whole county knows what pigs we are.

Not only should these d*ckheads be embarrassed but they should also be charged for fraud and illegal use of taxpayer dollars. Now as this whole mess unravels we will see the Children of the Valley stick it to the taxpayers for exposing them like Vegas strippers.

After all the Children of the Valley can never do any wrong. The Luzerne County Democrats are so corrupt and the voters of Luzerne County let them get away with everything but the Democrats of Luzerne County are like the voters' spoiled little children because they can do no wrong in the taxpayers' eyes. This is why I unaffectionately call them the Children of the Valley. Thank you registered democrats for f*cking up the valley and making Luzerne County the f*cking laughing stock of the commonwealth!!!

So beware voters and taxpayers!!! Petrilla's Fellas aint done yet!!! Now that they're exposed and embarrassed they will get even with you!!! Thank you Shannon Doyne for showing us all that the biggest import in PA is trash:

On a cold February morning this year, Korelle woke and realized that life as she knew it was over. Not that she had a choice – she and her young sons had been evicted from their apartment and this was move-out day. Korelle’s dilemma was due, in part, to her employer’s policy on maternity leave; the day-care center in Hartford Conn., where she had worked for three-and-a-half years did not offer it, she said. So she worked until the very end of her pregnancy, hoping she’d have enough time to figure out what to do next. Typical liberal spin. Let's feel sorry for this dumb*ss woman. So what it's cold. It's f*cking February!!! In Connecticut!!! It's DAMN COLD!!! Then you're supposed to feel even worse for her since she gets evicted around the time her pregnancy's over with. She's working all the way through her pregnancy and gets evicted around the time her baby's born. This means that she couldn't afford to have another kid let alone support the ones she had. She and Shannon Doyne break out the liberal playbook. Chapter 1: blame somebody else for the problems you created for yourself. It's apparent to the libs that it's not her fault that she couldn't control her wallet. Her employer is to blame because her employer didn't have maternity leave. Very few companies offer maternity leave. She should have found this out before getting knocked up!!!! She shouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place.

When no better plan came together, she counted on food stamps to feed herself and her three children, including an infant son. But without money coming in, Korelle, no stranger to financial struggles, had reached her limit. She packed their bags, and the family headed to Northeastern Pennsylvania to stay temporarily with Korelle’s mother. A person who can't get her finances in order and continually has problems with money has no business having kids that she can't afford. Korelle did you ever hear of anything called birth control? Did the daddy - where is the daddy? - ever hear of a rubber? Worse she goes on welfare and moved to NEPA! More trash get imported.

Things began to take a turn for the better a few weeks later when Korelle and her young trio were accepted at The Salvation Army’s Kirby Family House in Wilkes-Barre – a program that gives homeless families a place to stay, meals and training in skills such as saving money and debt repayment. She needs that kind of training. Now only if she can blame herself for her own troubles.

Now Korelle works as an auxiliary aide at Heritage House, a Wilkes-Barre nursing home. She has paid off nearly all of her old debt. And she saves 70 percent of her paychecks, an achievement that impresses her caseworker, Lisa Caruthers. “They really are such a deserving family,” Caruthers said. Why? because she's stupid or ignorant?

Donations to this season’s campaign will allow Korelle to take driving lessons, so that she and her children can be more independent. Doesn't even know how to drive. Wow. And this trash gets imported from Connecticut. I wonder if she ever knew that the public transportation system here sucks before she imported her trashy *ss from CT.

When the older boys ask, as they often do, how long it will be until they trade the one room they live in for an apartment of their own, Korelle has no answer. She just continues to save her money, hoping she and the kids can get by on very little now, so that when they leave the transitional-housing center, they’ll have more – more stability, more money set aside, come what may. ...just in time for her to get knocked up again and in financial trouble. who will she blame next time?

Getting to this point didn’t come overnight, of course. There were times when Korelle’s longtime struggle with bipolar disorder seemed to get worse. That's just f*cking great!

She had to be hospitalized after a mental breakdown, she said. That's just f*cking great!

Today, however, with the benefit of medication and weekly counseling sessions, Korelle is feeling stable, she said. Until 5 minutes from now when she'll get depressed or angry. There's more to the story and it mainly talk about what they want. Here's the list:

Driving lessons – $270
Scrubs uniforms – $140
Karate lessons (six months) – two at $150 - not necessary
Boys winter coat – two at $55
Boys shirts – four at $12
Boys pants – four at $19
Boys socks – two at $12
Shoes – two at $35
Art set – $20 - not necessary
Michael Jordan memorabilia – $20 - not necessary
Infant clothing – five at $12
Infant socks – $10
Push-toy – $25 - not necessary
Elmo doll – $20 - not necessary

Book of Handouts Article 11/29/2007

The Tims Liberal must be reading my posts. The author didn't sign his/her name to this one.

Ricardo and Sonia departed Puerto Rico and came to mainland United States in February with a dream – to provide a better life for their three children, ages 13, 6 and 1. They’ve made some headway since then, but perhaps none bigger than the step they took this month. After staying with relatives, then in a homeless facility, they finally moved into their own rental house. They relocated from Puerto Rico to a homeless shelter in NEPA. I gotta read on!!!

The former truck driver knows money will be tight until he and his wife can land better jobs. For the time being, the family can’t even afford to furnish their home, even though they’ve been saving. This is getting better. Most normal people would have money to buy furniture if relocating or have their furniture shipped with them. But of course they moved to a homeless shelter in NEPA!
Before making the journey, Ricardo had worked as a truck driver. Sonia was a cashier at a supermarket. Now, only 34-year-old Sonia works because Ricardo’s truck driver’s license will not transfer and he has had trouble familiarizing himself with U.S. trucks. Also, the language barrier makes it difficult for him to read the driver instruction handbook, he said. If you want to move to the States learn English.

The family’s wish list this holiday season includes home furnishings, such as a living room set so they can spend time together watching movies and playing games. One day they also would love to acquire a computer; it would help the family master more English and aid the youngsters in their studies. The family said American schools are the best part about living here. Ricardo Jr., a seventh-grader at Meyers High School, said the school year is going well, and he particularly enjoys his mathematics classes. I admire you for recognizing that the "mainland" offers the best in the world and it's a struggle but that's what the American spirit is all about - work ethic and making it on your own. His site claims to be open to objective discussion on the debate between God and Science, but there is nothing objectively written on that site. It is filled with hateful attacks on Christianity and the Bible. Many of the site's 55 members post hateful comments about Christian candidates. He and the hacks he recruited were doing the same on candidate blog sites and were notably kicked off Alan Keyes' blog site for the very same reason. Alan Keyes is a GOP candidate for U.S. President strongly supported by Christians.

The gears in my head are smoking and need some oil. How did this Jerry guy from CA find out about Swiderski in PA? Here's a couple-two-three possibilities:

Keyes' and Swiderski's people been talking and there's someone at Keyes' campaign trying to derail Keyes.

Swiderski sent a press release to a poser: a bunch of libs posing as a prolife or christian group hiding behind a website playing a game of recon.

Swiderski's campaign has an enemy in N. CALI or Hackett's campaign has a friend in N CALI (Hackett got money from people in CA).

Ted Terbolizard's (CA-4) campaign has an insider trying to derail Ted's campaign. (Terbolizard and other Ron Paul supporters endorse Paul Swiderski - there's a rumor that Ron Paul endorses Paul Swiderski).

Anyway, I did a bit of research on my own and found this *sshole's email address, so I took the liberty of sending him a little message. It was sent to dorchester@gmail.com

Jerry,

You're an *sshole. Let me clarify my position: you're an f*cking stupid *sshole! You're as f*cking stupid and ignorant as atheists and liberals get. Do you think you and your whopping 54 buddies can take over the country with your liberal bullsh*t atheist agenda? There are millions of Godly people out there in the U.S.A. when compared to a handful of atheists. You try to attack organized religion, the Boy Scouts, Christmas, and other things that make America great. As long as there are people like me out there fighting for the rights of conservatives, you atheist pricks will never win. I am sick and tired of you *ssholes trying to take away our identities and our heritage as Americans by protesting:

the Ten Commandments remaining in public buildings

bible quotes from being on the face of buildings

the phrase in God we Trust on out currency

the truth about our founding fathers

prayer in public schools

the real meaning of religious persecution

the saying Merry Christmas

Santa Claus saying HO, HO, mutherf*cking HO

F*ck you. F*ck the ACLU. F*ck your mother for having you. F*ck your father for getting drunk and sticking her.

God Bless and Merry Christmas

Eddy Turkiewicz

If you feel the way I do I encourage you all to copy/paste/send to this prick!

Hey Swiderski Dems Fightin' Words!!!

Some liberal *sshole apparently emailed the Swiderski campaign spreading their liberal agenda. Here's the contents of the email send to him:

Paul,
Based on your position statements, I pledge to work hard AGAINST your
campaign.

For instance, your blatantly illogical comment on stem cells; "Instead of
placing innocent life at risk, we should look to other proven means first."
The harvesting of stem cells from embryos on the way to a furnace for
incineration DOES NOT place innocent life at risk. Your statement is
impossible. It trashes your credibility and your logic and ability to
understand facts. Even if you believe that an embryo or fetus is a viable
life when in the womb - after it is aborted (spontaneously and naturally by
the body or invasive by a physician) at that point it is 100% dead. Removing
of a few stem cells at that point is meaningless to all parties involved. In
a few moments it will be ash. Yet it can provide a rich source of biological
starting material for advanced research. To prevent a disease that will
probably cause death to many people, including ones you love.

You said; "The adult stem cells are found in high quantity through the blood
of the umbilical cord and placenta." Perhaps you need to speak to the people
involved in the research to better understand the technology. Nothing is
more dangerous than someone (let alone a politician!) with "pretend
knowledge" speaking as though he knows what he is talking about. Indeed,
recent advances have been encouraging, but there is no substitute for new
active stem cell lines.

Furthermore you state; "The science for embryonic stem cells has not
produced any viable results. By promoting their use, we are giving false
hope to those suffering from debilitating diseases". Good grief, *when I
read that I saw immediately why you must NEVER be elected* - nor ever be in
a position of responsibility. Sorry to be brusque. But with your attitude we
would never have made ANY advances in ANY technology. Using your twisted
logic we should shut down the research on EVERY medicine and EVERY
developmental surgical technique - as they have not YET had any "viable
results" and give "false hope".

I could go on with each and every one of your position statements, yet have
just pulled just three examples why I will vigorously oppose your fanatical
right wing views and make sure MANY people know that the premise behind your
position statements are based in myth and falsehoods.

If you wish to refute any of my comments *with actual facts*, rather then
quotes from your individual version of your religion's bible, then feel free
to contact me.

This is Swiderski's reply and it's on his campaign website

First, thank you for you email. I enjoy receiving and reading mail from voters, no matter what your opinion is on my positions. As someone who wants to represent the people, it is important to know what the people's opinions are. I also welcome the opportunity to debate an issue in a civil manner. However, when a liberal such as yourself writes hate mail like the one above, you run the risk of having your play book disclosed to the people of the 10th Congressional District to illustrate what kind of values and people democrats like Chris Carney represent (Carney did vote for embryonic stem cell research funding - H.R. 810).

This is an example of an email from a typical liberal hack. These are the people who are trying to destroy traditional moral values and our identity as Americans. These are the people who attack Christianity and take away the the right to say celebratory phrases like Merry Christmas. Liberals like this faceless hack are responsible for polluting the meaning of the U.S. Constitution, make you want to believe that our founding fathers were atheists, and say that our children's rights will become violated if we allow them to pray in school.

Sir or madam (I cannot tell since you weren't bold enough to put your name to your email), you are more than welcome to campaign against my ideals just as I have the right to campaign for the right to restore America and return our country to its traditional, conservative values based upon the Christian principles of our founding fathers.

I welcome the opportunity to talk about the facts of this issue, rather than being preach to with senseless liberal ranting. Here are the facts about stem cell research, based upon credible, non-partisan, peer-reviewed articles (i.e., scholarly sources):

Most embryonic stem cells can be found in the umbilical cord and placenta. Scientists never legitimately validated the hypothesis that stems cells from embryos have any significant value for research. Almost all research conducted in this field indicate that this hypothesis will never be validated. Although research does indicate that one can clone blastocyst cells, the research focuses on the DNA which can be found in non-embryonic cells, extracted from therein, and yield the same results. In other words, taking an aborted fetus and using it for medical research is pointless. Therefore, the need to push for the legitimization of abortion through stem cell research is negated.

The latest research in stem cell development indicates that "stem cells can be derived from reprogrammed adult skin cells, making it appear less important to use human embryos... researchers... were able to create embryonic stem cells by using skin cells".

It is true that I am not a scientist. However, my training as a doctoral candidate allow me to obtain and analyze scholarly research for the purposes of forming an educated, informed and unbiased opinion. This research goes far beyond reading blogs and internet articles from incredible sources.
As your next representative, I will continue to examine emerging and developing issues such as the one above from an unbiased standpoint.

Here's my take:
First to the lib that sent this email to the Swiderski campaign. You're an *sshole and I will work equally hard to protest your bullsh*t liberal views. I asked Swiderski for your email address so that I can get my conservative friends to flood your inbox but he has too much moral stature to do that. Too bad.

Not only are you an *sshole but you're a stupid *sshole. Hatemail in politics gets trashed. Rightfully Swiderski trashed you *ss. Way to go Paullie!!!!!

What the f*ck makes you think anyone will respond to your crude email politely especially when it gets in my hands. I won't go easy on you like Paul Swiderski did.

There is nothing illogical about Swiderski's comment "instead of placing innocent life at risk...." The libs want to convince the public that embryonic stem cells from fetuses will cure the world of all diseases despite recent reports that say fetusus don't have any scientific value. It's just a ploy to keep abortion legal. I wouldn't be surprised if abortion clinics would try to convince women that an abortion will not be a waste of life because the fetus can be donated to science. ahhh the playbook opened to chapter 4: "even if science proves our philosophy wrong: lie and convince the people that the scientists are religious fanatics or find some illegitimate scientist to repudiate concerns. Remember rule #1. We liberals are always right even when we're wrong."

The only thing you're partially right on is the incineration of the aborted fetus. Most states allow or require incineration. All require humane disposal including burial. Nice to know that states call for the humane treatment of an inhumane procedure.

You are crying for Swiderski to get his facts right when all this time you're wrong. Most useful embryonic stem cells are found in the blood of the umbilical cord and placenta. There are hundreds of articles confirming this fact idiot.

You said Nothing is more dangerous than someone (let alone a politician!) with "pretend
knowledge" speaking as though he knows what he is talking about. Nothing is more dangerous
than a liberal idiot pretending to be a scholar. Al Gore is one of them and he duped everyone for the Nobel Prize. Amazing what special interest groups and the media can do for someone.

Then you say: Good grief, *when I read that I saw immediately why you must NEVER be elected* - nor ever be in a position of responsibility. Where the f*ck did you get this conclusion from? I think the real issue here is that you're an atheist and can't stand the fact that Swiderski can win based on his principles alone. Are you faceless because you're a coward or because you're working with someone's campaign? Who's campaign are you with *sshole? Are you with the RINO Meuser or GOP Playboy Hackett? Worse yet, are you with Carney's campaign?

Religion is under attack in this country and it needs to stop. I will find out who you are and expose you for the liberal atheist bastard you really are!!!

Next on Swiderski's reply:
I love the tone of his email when it opens. It's almost Regan-ish. Once the formalities are out of the way he begins to tear this guy a new one! Then, he exposes Carney's record!

Swiderski then says: This is an example of an email from a typical liberal hack. Throw in a few curse words and a little stronger wording and he'd take the words right from my mouth!

Sir or madam (I cannot tell since you weren't bold enough to put your name to your email), you are more than welcome to campaign against my ideals just as I have the right to campaign for the right to restore America and return our country to its traditional, conservative values based upon the Christian principles of our founding fathers. Right on!!! Give this bastard Hell!!! Now Swiderski's talking with vigour!!!

I welcome the opportunity to talk about the facts of this issue, rather than being preached to with senseless liberal ranting. OUCH!

Here are the facts about stem cell research, based upon credible, non-partisan, peer-reviewed articles (i.e., scholarly sources): Most embryonic stem cells can be found in the umbilical cord and placenta. Well put but where's the evidence?

It is true that I am not a scientist. However, my training as a doctoral candidate allow me to obtain and analyze scholarly research for the purposes of forming an educated, informed and unbiased opinion. This research goes far beyond reading blogs and internet articles from incredible sources. As your next representative, I will continue to examine emerging and developing issues such as the one above from an unbiased standpoint. Nice answer and sounds better than what Hackett would come up with: uhmm.. the Republican party says this so I should just restate their principles.

Way to stick it to this *sshole!!!

Book of Handouts Article 11/30/2007

JANINE UNGVARSKY wrote this one:

"Brandie’s unsettled home life became apparent to other people on Super Bowl Sunday 2005. The teenager, then 15, had planned to stay for the weekend with the family of her best friend, Alora. But, sadly, Alora’s grandmother died that day, so Brandie decided to call home for a ride, letting her friend’s family deal with their grief in private. She called once. She called again. It took three calls before anyone came for Brandie." Is this supposed to be a media article or a fictional novel? This is one of the most horribly written pieces of cr*p I read in a while. I saw porn scripts written better than this garbage.

"The incident signaled to Alora’s parents, Laura and James, that their daughter’s friend wasn’t getting much support at home. As the family discovered the full extent of Brandie’s situation, she spent more and more time at their place. Soon, she was living with them full time. Six months later, they applied for and received guardianship. “We took her in and now she’s ours,” Laura said. Laura and James welcomed Brandie despite the fact that they are both disabled and not working." Ahh... there lies the problem! 2 people both living on disability. What the f*ck is wrong with them that they're both unable to work? Sh*t. If they're that bad off - but I don't think they are - they shouldn't have taken on the responsibility of another kid!!! here's my take: the parents got some mild disability but can still work. They choose not to because the government (my tax money) will take care of them.

"They can offer little in the way of money or material goods, but they provide a lot of love." OH isn't that f*cking special. A lot of love won't pay the bills sweetheart. Speaking of a lot of love, did you see her picture? Being overweight isn't a disability. It's f*cking sick. It's a sign of being f*cking lazy. Did I mention she's ugly? maybe she's a femenist too.

"...Laura called Luzerne County Children and Youth Services for months to get the guardianship completed. “They say the squeaky wheel gets the grease,” she said. “I squeaked a lot.”" You got nothing better to do with yourself.
"When Laura’s mother died, the family inherited her house – and a huge mortgage. Health conditions have forced James, 55, an alumnus of Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, to retire from commercial truck driving. Laura’s health also prevents her from working." The guy probably has a bad back and hips. These are common problems for truck drivers. But why can't he change careers? What's wrong with Laura's health that she can't get out and get a job? Is she that f*cking lazy?

Brandie works only a few part-time hours, because, as Laura insists, “School comes first for both girls.” The family makes do with disability payments and child support for Brandie. Sad. Very sad. Too lazy to get a job disability isnt enough so you adopt a kid to add child support as income.

It’s the way they face all challenges – with love and resourcefulness. A broken drill gets glued, and glued again. James keeps wearing the battered slippers he once unintentionally wore when the fire volunteers who he captains were called out. “I slipped and fell at the fire because I was wearing those slippers,” he recalled. That's his disability. He's f*cking stupid! wearing slippers to a fire call. He's a volunteer fire fighter but too disabled to get a job? Being a firefighter requires physical demands on the body. How is this guy disabled?

This Christmas the family’s wish list includes mostly modest items, such as new slippers. For him to take to another fire call.

Brandie needs a new mattress and box spring and some clothes. Am I the only one who noticed this? Every welfare bum is asking for a mattress and box spring this year? Why is it that all the welfare people need new mattresses this year? Are they jumping up and down on their beds when that check comes in and when their access cards are reloaded?

She’s considering a career in photography, so a digital camera would give her a chance to dream about her future. In next year's book of handouts she'll consider a career in something else so she can get another gadget. I'll give her a gift card to Mr. Fashions so she can make money sitting on my lap - with a name like Brandie your career options are limited. But she can make some decent cash so he new parents can sit home and live on welfare.

Alora – a firefighter at heart – would love to have T-shirts with firefighter insignias, a new coat and, as something special, the new Garth Brooks CD set. What does Garth Brooks have to do with putting out fires?

Laura, who had so much to say about her girls, became less talkative when asked about her own holiday dreams. A new living room flooring to replace the ancient dusty carpeting that aggravates her asthma would be nice. But new sneakers and a pair of silky pajamas will do. How about a vacuum cleaner!

The mother has a wonderful heart for doing what she did but she is not a good role model. If Brandie needed a family then she should have been taken in by someone who can afford to take care of her and who can provide her with good work ethic. A couple who makes their living on disability checks will never instill the values to allow a child to be a productive member of society.

I'm voting for Dan Meuser

...as my favorite RINO. The link is here.

Not only is this lady mentally retarded - hey I'm not using fancy PC words like mentally challenged or mentally disabled these words are reserved for describing liberals - but she just overcame breast cancer. She couldn't enjoy her birthday and her mother would like to throw her a belated birthday party (probably also to celebrate winning the battle against cancer) but can't because she's on a limited income (probably means she's on disability or social security or works for $7.25/hour).

Anyone who battled cancer and won deserves a celebration. I question the motive for the party though and don't think it should be in the Times Liberal Book of Handouts. Is the party to celebrate her birthday or her victory in the battle against cancer? A birthday party is usually celebrated with friends and family and unless it's a huge milestone like 40 or 50 or 100 it's not thrown with a fancy DJ and catered food. She's 32. I think they're going overboard for a birthday party.

If it's to celebrate the fact that she conquered her bout with cancer why not turn it into a fundraiser? You're asking people to donate to this party why not ask them to donate to a greater cause like cancer research? There would be money raised to cover the catering hall rental and DJ plus a surplus to give to charity.

Book of Handouts Article 11/26/2007

Here's another example of a typical welfare bum trying to get a handout. Because of the bad choices she made in life we're supposed to feel sorry for her.

Yes I said the words "she" and "her" - don't expect me to go light on this article just because this waste of a civilian life is a woman. I'm an equal opportunist at pointing out human trash.

Taken from the Times Leader online and written by Camille Fioti:

"Homeless, alone and pregnant, Mary arrived at the Salvation Army’s Kirby Family House just in time. While a resident at the transitional housing facility, she gave birth to her daughter, Evangeline. Mary and Evangeline spent the next six months at the facility while Mary learned valuable parenting and life skills. The residents are encouraged to save 70 percent of their income to pay off debts and save for housing. “Mary is such a pleasure to work with,” Zaleskas said. “She truly jumped right into the program.” It’s been almost three years since Mary, 23, and Evangeline, 3, left the Kirby Family House and moved into their own apartment at the Boulevard Townhomes. But there are many household necessities they still don’t have. Everything in the apartment has been either donated or purchased at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. The sofa is covered with holes from vigorous spot-cleaning, and Mary’s mattress is so worn that the springs are popping out and the middle is sagging." Aside from the typical liberal victimization of this poor woman and her struggle to overcome society's struggles bullsh*t I can say that at this point in reading the article the first time I was almost lead to believe that this woman was finally trying to motivate herself to do something. She was homeless and now she has a place to live. Granted it's low income housing but these places are meant to be there to help people who need them temporarily. It almost seems like this girl's finally on the right track. One question lingers: why was she homeless at 20 years old? I can only think of three things: drugs, alcohol or she left an abusive situation. If it were addiction that lead her to be homeless than it's a little obvious how she might have become pregnant.
"Mary’s family was nominated for the Book of Dreams by her caseworker, Lisa Caruthers, at the Kirby Family House. “Mary is a very special individual due to the circumstances she has overcome in her life,” Caruthers said." SEE?!?!?!? The Times Liberal is trying to say that she's a victim of society and that she is a wonderful person because she can overcome what society has given her.

"Mary’s troubles began, when, at the age of 12, she experimented with a drug that a schoolmate gave her, she said. She wound up in a legal mess after that and was confined to house arrest when she ran away. “For some reason, I didn’t want to be home,” she said." Why does this writer for the Times Liberal have to sugar coat her situation? Camille Fioti, why do you insist on making this woman sound like a victim? This is pure liberalism at its best: this 12 year old girl fell victim to a drug she "experimented" with and the innocent friend, the schoolmate (sounds like an innocent enough word to use - you don't use schoolmate for a 12 year old kid - you use it to describe your kindergardener's classmates) gave it to her. What's next? headlines that read: College student allegedly assaulted by play date? Why do the libs insist on watering things down? Call a spade a spade. She was 12. Her friend offered her drugs. She chose to use them. She liked them. She chose to keep using drugs got addicted and her addiction got her in trouble. She was not a victim of society. She made certain choices and then had to live with the consequences of her actions. To put it simple she made her bed and she had to lay down in it. There once was a time that I would have liked to ask where were her parents but as I get older I now realize that sometimes parents do the very best that they can and the kids still end up rotten sometimes. I'm not going to blame the parents because I don't know the entire situation. I don't know how involved or not involved they were with Mary's upbringing but I still believe firmly that two parents who are involved with their kids and raise them with the right values will lower the risk that the kid is going to end up a reject.

The next three years, Mary went from group homes to juvenile detention centers. “I was stupid and young,” she said. “I didn’t realize what I was doing to myself. I hurt my parents very badly.” It sounds like she's fessing up to her mistakes. Remember though that drug addicts have something very much in common with politicians: both will tell you anything you want to hear when they want something for themselves. I hope that this crackwhore decided to clean up her act for good. What other conclusion can you come to? At twelve she got hooked on drugs been bounced around between the streets juvy hall and group homes. All this time she still stayed on drugs and kept getting herself in trouble. At 20 she's pregnant and homeless. Besides the obvious answer how did she get pregnant? My guess she whored herself out and used the money to buy drugs. You got a better answer? I'd like to hear it.

"Looking back, Mary says the experience gave her the “building blocks” she needed to survive." Life has a way of teaching you lessons. I hope she learned a lot and can pass on her knowledge to her kids. Maybe they will turn out better than their mother.

"Several days a week, Evangeline attends the McGlynn Learning Center, an after-school program for children living in the Boulevard Townhomes complex. The center provides educational tools and social interaction. Evangeline enjoys learning on the computers there, and would love one of her own, she said." Am I missing something here? the kid's 3 years old!!! Kids that age don't go to school and use computers! They watch Sesame Street and camp out in front of the Wachovia arena to get front row seats for the Wiggles.

"In September, Evangeline became a big sister when Mary gave birth to a son, Jordan, who weighed only 3 pounds. He was transferred to the neo-natal intensive-care unit at the Community Medical Center in Scranton, where he stayed for a couple of weeks. He came home on Evangeline’s birthday in October. “He was the best birthday present,” she said, tenderly kissing her brother’s tiny head while stroking his hair." I'm glad to hear that the kid's doing well now, but the mother is now showing her true colors as a druggy turned welfare bum. You're broke off your ass and single (there's no mention of a father in this article) allegedly trying to make a better life for yourself after whoring yourself out for some smack and getting yourself knocked up. Instead of moving forward and improving your situation what do you do - you get pregnant to stay on the system!!! Low income housing the access card and welfare checks - that's the f*cking life baby!!!

"Evangeline has been sleeping in Mary’s bed because she doesn’t have a bed of her own. She used to sleep in her crib, but the slide rail is broken and duct tape is holding it together. Jordan needs clothes more than any thing, his mother said. He also could use a crib and a highchair. Mary said she’d like to acquire a single stroller for Jordan, and plans to give the double-stroller she received from the Kirby Family House to another family who could use it more." Finally waking up to realize that welfare isn't the good life?

"When Jordan was born, Mary quit her job at a McDonald’s. “I’d love to work,” she said. “But right now, he’s just too tiny.” I would like to see a man use that excuse and try to get away with it. The baby's 9 months old and not sick any more and you need things for your home. Go back to work and use the system for what it was meant to be used for - to help you out as you try to improve yourself. The longer you stay on the system the harder it will be to motivate yourself to strive for improvement. Statistics show that parents who stay on welfare will be very likely to have kids who stay on welfare. Make yourself something your kids can be proud of. Get a job make some money build some savings and move off the system and into a home of your own. It can be done but you can't be making excuses like "my kid's too tiny." I can't stand people who live on the system and take advantage of my tax dollars but this kid's young enough to keep moving forward in life. Someone needs to tell this girl - if she really did stop using drugs and was serious about making a life for herself and her children - that she made some major progress but there's room for more improvement: don't stop now just because your situation improved a little. I'd hate to see this person who seemed to turn the corner become a host to a parasytic welfare system that needs more reform than a naughty school girl in a sadistic flick. But it looks like it's a little too late unless someone gives this girl a good kick in the ass.

She said she plans to find a job in the near future. We'll see.

"In the meantime, the family gets by on food stamps, and Mary’s father helps to pay the phone bill and the subsidized monthly rent of $53. All other utilities are included in the rent." That's a shame. Not only on the system but mooching off you father too.

Mary has formed many friendships with the residents and staff at the Kirby Family House and has agreed to talk to other residents about her experiences. “It’s a wonderful place,” she said. “It gives you a chance to survive, to make it. That’s all it’s about – trying to help families make it.” Yup you made it alright. Instead of living on the streets living on drugs and perverts you're living on my tax dollars. How about proving me wrong and making something of yourself? I know it's honorable to want to stay home with your kids when they're so young but you gotta support your family. Make something of yourself and then your kids will be proud of you. You'll make your parents proud of you too. Nothing is worse than seeing your own child get on drugs become a juvenile delinquent get pregnant before you get married and settle in low income housing. I'm glad my kids never made mistakes like that. If they did my heart would break. I can't imagine what parents think when their kids end up like this. I know I would beat myself up every day wondering where I went wrong blaming myself for not being the father I should have been. I probably would ask myself: was I too tough? Am I not tough enough? Was I involved enough? Did I make myself available? The only hope parents have then is that their kids end up back on the right track.

Being a dad is troubling enough. When they're born you go through sleepless nights and have to go to work the next day. You promise yourself and your child the moment he is born that you'll be the best parent possible teach them the world and not make the same mistakes your parent made. The whole time that they grow up with you you keep thinking in the back of your mind that you want them to have it better than you had it growing up. When they go to college you hope they call and visit often and that they don't drop out or do something stupid at a frat party. When your kid gets married and has kids - well I don't have grandkids - but I can say I'm proud of myself. My kids turned out OK.

Yes, even grumpy old conservative bastards like me can have a soft side.

Book of Handouts Article 11/25/2007

Someone at the Times Liberal must be reading this blog because the quality of the people asking for stuff in the Book of Handouts seems to be getting a little better, even though the writers at the Times Liberal are really pushing it to try to get you to feel sorry for the people they write about:

"For Harold, things weren’t going well in January 2005. Furloughed from his manufacturing job of nine years at Techneglas, the father of three was job hunting.
But there was hope; the township street department had an opening. Harold stopped at his prospective boss’s home to check on his application. It went well. He went home and had some coffee.

Suddenly, something went terribly wrong." I know it's not funny but when I first read this line I mockingly said *GASP* OH NO!!! After reading the full article I felt like an ass despite the terribly written one liner.

“I went to get up and I couldn’t. I called for my daughter and the words came out wrong,” said Harold, now 50. His young son hid behind the couch. His teenage daughter ran across the street to where her mother, Emma, was working at a day-care center. A nurse who happened to be there to pick up her child raced to Harold’s side.

The nurse knew right away – he was having a stroke. Before Harold arrived at the hospital, he had a second. He hasn’t been able to work a full day since, he said." This can be very believable. I found out through several medical professionals that a stroke can leave people disabled for the remainder of their lives to the point that rehabilitation can only hide some of the permanent signs left afterwards. It depends on the severity of the stroke.

"Harold’s disability started a downward spiral that left the five-person family struggling to fill basic needs – from replacing worn-out appliances to buying basics such as fuel oil and clothing." I met similar people this happenned to after sufering strokes or being diagnosed with debilitating diseases. It's a very unfortunate consequence.

"Donations to this season’s project will allow Harold and Emma’s family to acquire basic necessities, perhaps allowing them to set aside a few dollars for much-needed home repairs." It's right after here that the quality of the article declines. To save the readers of this blog the headache, I'll paraphrase objectively:

The couple has three kids: a 20 year old daughter a 16 year old daughter and an 11 year old son. All five live in a house that looks like a construction zone because after the stroke the father couldn't finish major home improvement projects he started prior to having the stroke. Due to his condition, he can't keep a full-time job.

"Harold, who had been active with the area’s fire and ambulance companies, is able to maintain a part-time job at a gas station. “He works four hours and has to come home and sleep for three,” Emma said. “He took a job (on an assembly line) but fell asleep on his feet and that was it.” Besides coping with exhaustion, Harold also finds it takes him longer to process information and make decisions. “His clots were at the top of his brain,” Emma said. “The doctor explained that nature finds a way and the blood gets around, but it takes longer for everything to work." Harold’s challenges are not the family’s only medical issues.
Emma has severe and painful psoriasis." I'm not sure if the family or the Times Liberal are stretching it but psoriasis in some cases can lead to disability.

"Ruth [the 20 year old daughter] has fibromyalgia, her mother said." The other daughter has fibromyalgia. Their 11 year old son is also diagnosed with ADHD which I think is a crock of sh*t.

"With so many medical needs and appointments to tend to, Emma can’t take a full-time job. Disability checks and Harold’s part-time earnings don’t stretch far enough." I would never want to be in their situation. But here's where I think the article goes out of control trying to play on people's emotions:

"Ruth, who attends Luzerne County Community College, works part time, but rising gas prices guzzle any extra, they explained. Harold sat with his head down, silent and holding back tears. “It’s such a blow when you were the breadwinner and now you’re on disability,” he said at last. “Everybody thinks I have it made, because I’m home, because my cars are good. The cars are a reminder of the past, when he made a good wage at a job he loved. “If I still worked at Techneglas,” said Harold, “this house would be great.”Still, he dreams. “If I could finish the laundry room – it just needs flooring and sheetrock – I could move the washer and dryer. Then I could insulate that room,” he said, pointing past the sheet in the doorway. “If I could get in the insulation, it wouldn’t be so cold.”Harold said he’s been offered dented sheet rock at a discount, but there’s never enough extra cash for even damaged building supplies. Emma adds another dose of reality: the clothes washer and dryer are in such bad shape they might not survive the trip upstairs. The washer lid recently came off and the dryer probably should be considered a fire hazard. “It doesn’t shut off unless you open the door,” she said. Newer washer and dryer machines are just two of the family’s many pressing needs. The 22-year-old refrigerator is on borrowed time. Margie – in pain from her many medical conditions – sleeps on a futon that can’t be opened because the unfinished bedroom doesn’t have enough space. Harold can’t shovel snow any more, and his used snow blower gave out last year. Winter clothes. Oil for heat. Gas for trips to Hershey’s hospital and to school. Snow tires so Ruth can safely travel to class. The list of necessities out of reach seems endless. And yet, the family goes out of its way for others, said friend and neighbor Carol Costantino, who nominated the family for the Book of Dreams project. “They are just wonderful people,” she said. When Costantino had surgery last year, Emma cleaned her house and Harold helped out with odd jobs. “Emma slept here many times to help me,” Costantino said. “They don’t have much of their own, but they give from their hearts. She’d be thrilled to see the family receive a delivery or two of building supplies. “If someone gave them the supplies, we would round up some people to help them get put in,” she said...
With a shake of her head, Emma refused suggestions to dream for something fun. “We need so much,” she said, “I can’t afford to ask for fun.”

Maybe I'm just insensitive but I don't think you need to add all the touchy feely crap to drive the point home. Regardless this family is one I would cosnider helpign despite the poorly written article. I can find it easy to believe that they really need help. People really looking for a handout will go out of control asking for free sh*t but this family seemed modest in their needs for the most part. Here's what they're asking for:

Heating oil – $1,650
Clothes washer/dryer – $799
Refrigerator – $750
Snow tires – $360
Gas cards – $100
Winter coat – $55
Jeans – three at $20
Long-sleeved shirts – four at $15
Sweatshirts – two at $15
Nightgown – $35
Robe – $40
Boy’s sneakers – $20
Bionicles – $25
Art supplies – $25
Books – $25
Drinking glasses – $25
Utensils – $60
Board games – three at $15
Dream Total – $4,164"

Book of Handouts Article 11/24/2007

Jeremy Grad, wrote this one in Saturday's Times Liberal:

"George and Megan want to give their three children a Christmas to remember, but with winter closing in and the temperatures dropping, they’d settle for being able to provide the basics – new winter coats and shoes." OK Jeremy you got my attention but why should I give a damn?

"Before being laid off, George was employed full time by an area Internet service provider for two years. In the year since then, he’s been taking jobs through temporary employment agencies. In a good week, he gets 35 hours of work, he said." I know the job market sucks here, but it shouldn't take a year to find a full-time job. With 3 kids stop dreaming George and get anything you can full time. Once you have a steady paycheck you can start looking around for your dream job. Now I'm not sure if this guy is lazy or just plain stupid. I'm not feeling bad for him at all.

"With his limited income, George, 37, said it is “virtually impossible” to support a family." Duh! A maximum of 35 hours/week with 3 kids? Nothing steady for a year? So what are you George Lazy or stupid? I wonder if he's married and if so what does she do?

"Megan, 29, is a stay-at-home mom, raising the couple’s son and twin daughters." Admirable but stupid. Your husband's either too lazy or stupid or both to land a full time job and you're not willing to pull any weight for your family. Your oldest son is 8 and goes to school. He doesn't need you to stay home if you're broke. The article also says that you have two daughters who go to Head Start preschool. This is a free program for you thanks to my tax dollars. So what's you're f*cking excuse for not working? Are you afraid that getting a job will jeopardize your ability to work the system? WOMAN PUT THE POTATO CHIPS DOWN THAT YOU BOUGHT WITH YOUR ACCESS CARD GET YOUR FAT ASS OFF THE COUCH AND GET A F*CKING JOB. WHILE YOU'RE AT IT KICK YOUR HUSBAND'S ASS FOR ME FOR NOT BEING A REAL MAN AND SUPPORTING HIS FAMILY.

“There are times when we have to decide which bill is more important to pay so we can keep food on the table for the kids,” said George, Who doesn't at times? Welcome to the real world. But don't fret there's a solution to your problems: George come over my house so I can give you a well needed kick in the ass and I'll give your wife the classified section to today's paper. Oh and the putting food on the table comment - I don't buy it. You're probably toting around an Access card.

"as he and the family sat in their living room near a kerosene heater. The home’s heating system was broken, and they were awaiting its repair." I feel bad for your kids. Not only are they going to freeze this winter but you're setting a bad example for them by showing them it's OK to be lazy and stupid. Maybe concerned citizens should do them a favor and call Child Services.

"Megan, George and their children are among 11 families and individuals profiled in The Times Leader/Luzerne Foundation Book of Dreams holiday campaign, an annual project to help area residents with special needs. This year’s fundraising goal is $31,478. Readers can make financial contributions by using the accompanying clip-out form. If you want your donation to be directed to a specific person or family, please note that on the form. Those dreams will be fulfilled first." Don't count on it George and Megan.

“It’s a struggle, but we survive,” said Megan, who serves as the glue that keeps the family together. She bluntly stated that “my babies are my world.” Then why the hell do you put your 4 year olds in day care especially on my tax dollars? On top of that you don't work!!! What's the point in putting them in day care if you're not going to work? What soap opera is that important? The only glue in your home is the one stuck between your fat lazy ass and the couch.

"George Jr., 8, is the oldest of the couple’s children. The third-grader earns straight-A’s, despite having been diagnosed with behavioral issues while in kindergarten. " Proof that the parents are lazy and the mother doesn't care about her kids. Her Access card probably pays for potato chips and other junk foods which cause children to become overweight and/or slow brain function. Studies indicate that certain preservatives and additives in junk foods can lead to behavioral problems in children. Another cause of behavioral problems in children are the parents' lack of willingness to discipline their kids. ADHD wasn't present in children 30 or 50 years ago when daddy's belt hung on the doorway.

"He also plays fullback and outside linebacker in a youth football league. His father is a volunteer coach." You have the time and money to put your kid in football and drive him to games but not for heat. Yeah, you have your priorities straight. So, how much beer do you have at home George?

"Autumn and Kaitlyn, the twins, are 4 years old. They attend preschool through the Luzerne County Head Start program. Their mother said Head Start has been “a rock” for the girls. After the first week (at Head Start) we noticed such a change,” Megan said. “They were singing their ABC’s and counting. They developed a lot of good friendships, and it’s getting them ready for kindergarten.” Thanks to my tax dollars. So what do you do all day when the kids are at Head Start and school? Why can't you get a job with all that spare time you have?

"Ryan Hogan, the family’s caseworker at Head Start, nominated the family for The Times Leader’s annual Book of Dreams program. He knew they were having trouble keeping their heat on, getting clothing and replacing essentials. George Jr., for instance, sleeps on a bed with metal springs jutting out the sides." OK. Why is the bed in such bad shape? Is this from the kid's "behavioral" problems or because the mattress wore out two years ago when George supposedly had the money to replace it? Basically, what does this come down to: bad parenting or bad parenting?

“For their own health it’s necessary that they have food in their stomachs, warm clothes,” said Hogan, “and toys for Christmas, so they can experience all the things that other children have.” I agree. The access card pays for food. Salvation Army for clothes. Christmas taken care of although not fancy. Maybe the parents need to look at their situation stop blaming other people for their own laziness and stupidity and find full time jobs.

"The family, whose members relocated here from upstate New York, has lived in Wilkes-Barre for most of the last five years. George has a background in automobile mechanics." An he can't find a job or do side work?

"He and Megan read to their daughters every night, they said." The parents can read!! Wonderful!!! Read the f*cking classifieds!!!

"The parents’ biggest wish this holiday season, Megan said, is to have new beds and warm clothing for the children. “For starters, they’ll have a better night’s sleep,” she said. “They’ll get a good night’s rest and be ready to go to school in the morning.” Great! Go to work and get your kids what they need.

"The family has little money for toys, and recent holidays have been sparse. Autumn and Kaitlyn, who often wear second-hand clothing a few sizes too large, each want a Leapster Learning Game System – a hand-held device that plays interactive educational games. The gaming system will allow the girls to build on their skills and get ready to start elementary school." Bullsh*t!!! Preschool should be enough to prepare the kids for school. Wha other handouts do these bums want?

Bunk bed – $250 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!
Bunk mattress/springs – two at $210 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Queen bed – $559 Who the f*ck is this for? I thought they were thinking about the kids all this time!!!

Twin bed – $349 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Sheet sets – four at $20 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Blankets – five at $35 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Pillows – five at $20 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Children’s shoes – three pairs at $15 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Winter coats – three at $45 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Children’s shirts – six at $12 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Children’s pants – six at $15 George get a full time job and tell your wife to get to work. Then you can buy this on your own!!!

Board games – three at $15 So they can play monopoly while daddy can pretend he's looking for a job.

Leapster learning system/ games – $100 Not on you're f*cking life!!!

Dora the Explorer dolls – two at $25 Not a necessity

Dream Total – $2,470

One last thing! Her 4 year old son has cerebral palsy. She's not asking for much except for a mobility device called a Dynamic Stander which would enable him to stand and walk.

Granted she had a kid at age 15. Another teenage pregnancy most likely resulting from stupidity. At least she owned up to the mistake was pro-life and took responsibility for her actions. Unlike many liberals she acted like an adult. Now she's attending college and trying to do something with her life. I give her credit. This is a cause I would throw a few bucks to. I don't have enough money to pay for the entire machine but am willing to go ahead and do whatever I can to help this young lady and her son out.

The only question I have is: if Dan Meuser is such a champion for disabled people and if he works so hard to help them out then why isn't he helping this family?

Times Leader's Book of Dreams

Every Christmas season I get pissed off when I see the local liberal media trying to prey on the kindness of the people of NEPA by convincing hard working individuals to contribute their hard earned dollars to bums and welfare recipients in what the Times Leader likes to call the Book of Dreams.

This f*cking section of the paper twists my stomach into knots and pumps my blood pressure through the roof. Most of the people that are chosen for the Book of Dreams are welfare bums who ask for thousands of dollars of free stuff. What I want to know is: why can't these *ssholes who live on my tax dollars get a f*cking job and buy their own sh*t?

Worse yet the libs at the Times Leader like any other liberal media outlet give a fancy name to make you think that you should care about these Access card toting bums and during the holiday season to make your heart bleed a little. This title: the Book of Dreams!!!

...makes me care.

I care so much that I think I will give some handouts to welfare bums asking for brand new bedroom sets and video game systems.

Let's call a spade a spade here: the Book of Dreams is a misnomer. Let's take this piece of worthless news call it a waste of valuable ad space and rename it: the Book of Handouts to Welfare Bums.

Look I'm not going to say that everyone who's listed is not worthy of a donation. Occasionally there is one story that actually touches my heart because the person or family asking for help is truly deserving of it. Most however aren't.

As the Times Liberal continues to publish the Book of Handouts I will continue to publish my opinion as to whether the people listed deserve to be helped or if they should be ashamed of themselves for asking for a handout.

enjoy

Dan Meuser, who are you kidding?

I am playing catchup with the newspaper and I read someone's editorial on Dan Meuser in the Times Leader. After reading it I thought about putting my finger down the back of my throat and throwing up my potato pancakes. Instead I pissed my pants laughing at each sentence especially this part:

"Dan Meuser has worked tirelessly on behalf of disabled Americans, striving to ensure that they will continue to receive the equipment necessary to retain the ability to be productive and contributing members of society. He has supported, and will continue to support, those who understand and advocate for these same issues." (Source: Kevin Reilly, Dallas, editorial in November 22, 2007's Times Leader).

First of all... uh... WHAT???? Pride's customers scooters are retailers. Most of the retailer's customers are welfare recipients and retired/disabled people living on social security. This is not the marking of a productive and contributing member of society. Who the f*uck is this Kevin Reilly kidding? I pray that the voters of the 10th CD are not stupid enough to fall for this line of bullsh*t. Then again, Carney was elected.

#2 So Meuser is a great guy because he supports politicians and candidates who promise to fund his supply chain? These politicians include Charlie Rangel (who in my opinion sounds like Elmer Fudd) Hillary Clinton and "Uncle" Paul Kanjorski. Their agenda are far from those that the voters of the 10th CD want. But according to Meuser it's OK to support these candidates so long they fund his supply chain no matter what other issues they want to bring forward. Can anyone say: special interest? Yeah, this is a guy I want in office. Anyone who doesn't see past Meuser's real intentions is a complete moron and deserves to have their pubic hair pulled one by one with tweezers by a dominatrix named Mistress Helga.

Like the infomercial... BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!!

"Dan Meuser has also worked on behalf of the more than 1,000 local residents employed by Pride Mobility. These employees are well-paid, full-time workers with benefits. They are people who buy homes, raise families, purchase goods and services locally, and who contribute greatly to the area’s economic health." (Source: Kevin Reilly, Dallas, editorial in November 22, 2007's Times Leader)

How has Dan Meuser worked on behalf of the 1000+ employees? Moreover how has he worked on behalf of the 400+ who were laid off in the last 2 years? Are we to expect that in NEPA Pride really does pay well? What is considered to be good pay at Pride, $8.00/hour, or more? What is the pay scale at Pride compared to the average salary in NEPA? Does Dam Meuser really think sitting in his cushy office that the economy of NEPA is healthy? Until these questions are truthfully answered by someone this entire paragraph is complete and utter bias not represented by any facts.
Dan Meuser is not conservative with anything - not even the tanning booth and the teeth whitening. He's just trying to buy his way into Congress and the voters will probably let him.

I made it clear on my posts in other blogs that Meuser does not nor will he ever represent the values and beliefs of the tenth congressional district. Hell up until he decided to announce he never had a property in the district.

Here's the truth about Meuser: He is not a real conservative. He is not even a republican. He's a RINO. His values and beliefs represent those of a liberal democrat - you can't convince me otherwise. But he's going to win unless the county republicans decide to get their act together and promote other candidates more worthy of the position. Also the voters will buy into his bullsh*t.

I for one am not voting for Meuser and will continue to stand behind my reasons for not supporting him.

Joe Leonardi, where are you?

If you don't know Joe you live under a rock. This guy - underfinanced and ignored by the media - took on Kanjorski in 06 and gave him a hell of a fight. I truly believe that if the Luzerne County Clowns (i.e. the Luzerne County Republican Committee) got their heads out of their asses and had any leadership Joe would have won. We would've done much better a few weeks ago in local races if this was the case, too.

Joe although the underdog never gave up. He has enthusiasm and the conviction to go against Uncle Paul Kanjorski should be a lesson to anyone wanting any political seat. He had a true desire for wanting to represent the people of NEPA and restore pride among county republicans. People believed in Joe.

Unfortunately, Joe's been quiet since the election. His leadership is exactly what the county clowns need to no longer be the subject of ridicule. Come on out from underneath that rock Joe! The War in Iraq.

After invading Afghanistan and having no luck finding Osama Bin Laden, Bush and Cheney devised a plan to divert attention from a failed attempt to find the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks by trying to find a reason to go to war in Iraq. CIA reports found no link between Al Quaeda and Sadaam Hussein so Cheney and Feith decided to "reexamine the CIA findings" and come up with their own links. They hired some professor from Penn State University to find links and gave him a fancy title like Senior Pentagon Official. This professor, Chris Carney (we all know him as the guy who won the 2006 congressional election because he didn't beat up women) was told to make up false statements to convince the President of the United States to go to war. The finished product had 50 "points of evidence" (i.e. lies) linking Al Quaeda to Hussein. There are dozens of quality articles from credible sources documenting this truth.

Carney admits to coming up with these lies in the memo: "When asked whether there was a relationship between Sadaam Hussein and Al Qaida, here's what Carney said in his own words: “On a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 was no connection and 10 was operational control, I would say it’s about a 2½.”

2 1/2 out of 10, and how many young men and women lost their lives? Way to go Carney!!!

The Angry Republican

I'm not one to apologize for my crudeness, so don't expect one OK? What you get here is pure, not-from-concentrate, unfiltered, no bullsh*t commentating on the issues. All of my opinions can and are based on solid, credible evidence. I comment on things the way I see them. I tell people how it is without any sugar coating.

We discuss news and politics here on this blog and tell you the secrets of the liberal playbook. Candidates and local politicians (NEPA) will be dissected here and exposed for who they really are. A few endorsements may appear but only if the candidates are truly deserving.

This is not a blog for children or people with weak hearts.
